The Dreamer and the Goddess
A Morpan/ Ah! My goddess! Fanfic

This is an unofficial fanfic and is not endorsed or supported by Kosuke Fujishima and the Ah! Megami-sama committee (Ah! Megami-sama/ Oh! My goddess!/ Ah! My goddess!). Also this fanfic contains the character “Yuna” from Final Fantasy X\X-2, however this fanfic is not endorsed or supported by Square Enix (Final fantasy). Also her personality is a cross between both games and her skills are a mixture from both games and some of my own ideas. Finally, The Michael Morpan character is a creation of my own. 

In terms of Ah! My goddess! It is set 2-3 months after season 1 of the 2005 anime series, though the DVD extra episodes are not accounted for due to the fact that at the time writing began I have not seen them. In terms of Morpan it is set 1 month after the previous fanfic “Destiny”.

It has been a month since Michael and Yuna was introduced to the council of Clow and with Michael becoming the guardian of Clow. He felt it was just another title to add to his vigilante role, but he thinks that will change soon once he meets Sakura and Li.

Right now, all he is worried about is getting the family's shopping done. He has been a bit more adventurous thanks to his girlfriend and dreamer Yuna, who accompanies him though the shopping. Her warm, sweet, caring spirit and haunting beauty melts Michael's heart and baths him in a warm and caring embrace.

Nearly all the food shopping has been done, and the two are carrying the bags in both hands. Michael doesn't feel tired down, or stressed because he knows Yuna won't push him hard. Now and then he looks at Yuna, seeing her haunting beauty and sweet smile gives him a tingle every time, but he knows he can't show this blooming chemistry out in public or it will cause problems. Though some people do look at Yuna due to the fact that she was wearing her pesudo-kimono. She didn't mind though, it was casual wear to her.

They were about to wrap off the shopping when Michael noticed a clothes store up ahead. He stands outside the store and looked at Yuna.

Michael: Yuna, i would like to go in this store alone, if you don't mind.

Yuna: But you don't like clothes stores.

Michael: Its a surprise... for you.

Yuna took a small gasp for a few moments then smiled sweetly.

Yuna: You go on in then Michael, we still have a few more things to get on the shopping list but i think i can manage.

Michael: OK, see you soon.

And with that Michael went into the clothes store alone, Yuna sets off towards the bakery when she heard an unusual call in the market place.

Woman: Come on! Come on! Ł1 for a chance to win big! Unique prizes for everyone! None of the usual, always the extraordinary!

Yuna turned to find a woman in her 30s on a tombola like stall. The store is covered with lights that would fit a circus which made it stand out in the market place. Yuna fortunately had some money with her to do the food shopping with, so she slipped out a pound from it and went to the stall.

Yuna: Here you go.

Yuna offers a pound to the stall holder or shop keeper, if you would want to call it that. The stall holder took the money and then turned the handle on the tombola barrel a few times before positioning the barrel so the hatch was at the top. She opened the hatch and then said to Yuna.

Woman: Now dear, pick out a ticket from the barrel.

Yuna placed her right hand inside the barrel and pulled out one of the tickets. She showed the ticket to the stall owner.

Woman: Ticket number 364... thats gives you...

She checks the ticket number with her list after a bit of searching she immediately gasped and then said in delight...

Woman: Congratulations, you have won our star prize!

She pulls out a golden envelope and hands it to her before continuing...

Woman: A 10 nights, all-expenses paid trip to Tokyo for you and one other friend. Includes travel and accommodation. Congratulations!

Yuna takes the envelope. Immediately the people around Yuna clapped and applauded her. She gives a bow to the stall holder.

Yuna: Thank you my lady.

She then smiles to the others before heading off. She was happy, she could give Michael a gift he always wanted and furthermore she would give it to him as a surprise. So, without making any further commotion, she carries on her original task of finishing the food shopping.

Once all the food shopping was done Yuna returned to the clothes store Michael went in to find he was outside waiting for her. She noticed Michael was holding an additional bag however she wouldn't ponder about it so she doesn't disappoint Michael.

Michael: Well, should we be going?

Yuna: Yes.

And so Michael and Yuna departed to the bus station (Michael needed to show that he did take the bus to and from West Bromwich and not just “arrive” there by Yuna's teleportion abilities). Neither knew about the surprise presents that they were going to give each other, however Yuna knew that Michael was planning a surprise for him, she would now be able to return the favor. Yet as they left they were unaware that the Stall holder that rewarded Yuna the tickets was on the floor, unconscious and that beside her was a demonic figure.

Marller: A Dreamer... this will be the biggest boost to my career yet! Just you wait Yuna, once your charge is gone, you will be the unhappiest spirit known!

Friday 1PM

Michael and Yuna have just returned home from shopping, they were beat yet happy. Michael was on the settee completely exhausted from the shopping, Yuna looked at him and smiled sweetly before she spoke in her sweet,warm voice.

Yuna: Aww... your tired. Let me pack the shopping away for you.

Michael: You don't mind?

Yuna: I don't mind Mikey.

She goes up to him and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Michael started to blush at her as she smiles sweetly to him. Now the blooming chemistry surfaces again as Michael looks at Yuna's wall-eyed green-blue eyes, her presence in Michael's life always haunts him. From her voice and gaze to her pretty appearance and angelic personalty. Time always seems to slow down for him as she is close to him, like he was in a trance. Of course, the time has to catch up and he realize that when Yuna left his side to pack away the shopping. Yet he doesn't mind, and neither does she.

Half an hour later, Yuna returns to Michael with a cup of coffee in her right hand and in her left hand a ham sandwich inside it's bakery container. Michael sits up on the settee and Yuna sits beside him.

Yuna: Here you go.

She hands over his coffee and sandwiches before going to collect hers. She returns and sits by him once more. They ate their sandwiches (which Yuna brought from the bakery) and drank their tea and coffee. Then Yuna brought in their cakes (which were iced ring doughnuts) and they both eat them. Silence seems to be the only sense of conversation between them, but their dreamy love state when they looked at each other made up for it.

After they eat their food and drank their drinks, Michael immediately went to one of the shopping bags that was still unpacked,picked it up and happily walked over to Yuna and placed it down by her before sitting back on the settee. He playfully says to Yuna.

Michael: This is for you.

She sweetly smiles as she opens the bag, her smile become even more apparent when she sees what was in the bag the whole time (Even though she knew she was going to receive a surprise by reading Michael's mind during shopping). Inside the shopping bag were two items,the first was a small natural brown backpack, it has 2 straps and on the front there is a beautiful hibiscus embroidery on the lower section of the bag and a string and fastener that ties the bag up, allowing the bag to be opened and closed.

The other was a beautiful wooden jewellery box with hibiscus embroidery on the top and several compartments inside.

Michael: The backpack is the main present, i found the jewellery box in the clothes store as well and thought about including it for you as well. 

Yuna: It's beautiful Michael but... are you sure you wanted to do this for me?

Michael: Of course, you have helped me a lot over the past few months. From the first day i met you, you have cared for me in ways i never thought was possible. Whenever i was sad, you were there to cheer me up; whenever i felt alone, you were there to make me warm. Your appearance makes me feel so warm, so cared, so loved. Your voice is warm and melodious and your heart is of angels and nymphs. I am never alone because of you, so i am giving you this as my thanks towards our blossoming friendship, my angel.

Yuna smiled sweetly with tears coming from her eyes in joy and warmth. The thought that  he wanted to give so much to her, regardless of how much it would cost showed his generosity and care for her. Not once has Michael abused her position,making her happy that she is selflessly helping Michael with his life and making him the happiest man known though her warmth and love. Not once has Michael thought about his past and has always thought about how sweet and caring Yuna is.

Yuna thought that this is the time to spring her own surprise for her. So she removes the envelope containing the tickets which she hid in the obi of her pesudo-kimono and hands it to him.

Yuna: I got this for you, my tiger.

Michael takes the envelope and opens it, he saw the tickets and immediately he smiled, he was very happy. He hugged Yuna as he thanked her.

Michael: Thank you Yuna, you really are special!

Yuna sweetly smiled to him as he too was now crying with joy. He sits back up after hugging her, smiling to her before he spoke.

Michael: How did you get these tickets?

Yuna: I won them in a competition which was on while we were shopping, i knew you were going to give me a surprise via my telepathy so i thought i would return the favor.

Yuna sweetly smiles to him again. Michael was very happy, one of his dreams, the dream that he would visit Japan was going to come true. He thought about the unique mixture of spirit and technology that make it a special place he should visit. Of course, reality kicked in again.

Michael: One problem, how we are going to explain this to my parents?

Yuna: Don't worry, You told your parents about that you have a girlfriend...

Michael told his parents that he had a girlfriend a month back to take off some of the steam concerning his travels. He didn't tell them about her name, but he told them about her personality (like the fact that she is pure and innocent and never considers anything sexual or manipulative) and a slightly altered version of their endeavours (to hide the fact from them that she is a dreamer spirit). With that done, his parents forgave a few of the problems that have occurred a few months back and see him as now growing up. They allowed him to be out of the house for longer periods as a result.

Yuna: ...Well, tell them that your girlfriend has won a competition and wants you to go on holiday with her. You told a brief description of me so they will accept you going on holiday.

Michael: OK,  i will tell you when i done that. Thanks again, Yuna.

Yuna: You too.

That evening Michael was in his bedroom, he quietly called Yuna. She appeared before him, sweetly smiling to him as he explained.

Michael: My family has allowed me to go on holiday. So all there is to do is to pack.

Yuna: That's great, you didn't tell how we are going to get there. 

Michael: Well, i said you will pick me up and take me to the Airport. Of course, you will teleport me there once we have left. But how can we do that while holding our luggage?

Yuna: I can create a teleportaion hole that we can use to teleport to the airport. We will take the flight and be in Tokyo without any problems.

Michael: Thanks. One more thing, what will happen to the Wu Fang sword? 

Yuna: I can store it in the spirit world if you don't mind, the spirits know its purpose so you don't need to worry.

Michael picks up the Wu Fang sword (Which he secretly hid in the back of one of the wardrobes.) and gives it to Yuna. She holds the sword and closes her eyes, her clothes start to show a light glow and then the sword glowed and disappeared.

Yuna: There, it can stay in the spirit world while we are on holiday.

Michael: Thanks Yuna. Indeed, this fighter is having a break from the hustle and bustle for now. Lets pack!

And so the two packed everything they needed, Michael's luggage filled up two backs containing his toiletries, clothes,pyjamas, a few books and his Ipod and charging unit. Yuna's just took a few toiletries of her own and the jewelery box and put it into her backpack. After all that, it was time to sleep.

Yuna: Now get some rest Mikey, tomorrow is going to be a big day.

Michael: Indeed, Goodnight Yuna.

Yuna: Sweet dreams Mikey

And with that Yuna disappeared. Shorty after, Michael went to bed. The next day he got himself ready, took his luggage, said goodbye to the family and left to meet Yuna (Who secretly teleported herself out early to create the illusion). She then teleported them to the airport and from then on in they were on the flight to Japan.

Two classes, one role.

Saturday 10AM

The flight has been about 2-3 hours for Michael and Yuna, during the flight Michael been listening to his music on his Ipod. Yuna started to wear her backpack to go with her pusedo kimono, which suited her well. They have now arrived at Tokyo International and were about to go to their assigned taxi for the transfer to their hotel. As they were exiting the airport, Michael wondered how he was going to get around Japan (Because he doesn't know much Japanese to get around).

Yuna: You are worried about how you can communicate with the people here.

Michael knew that Yuna was reading his mind. He nodded his head.

Yuna: Don't worry, i will translate what they say to you and what you say to them.

Michael: Thanks.

Meanwhile... about 500 miles away from Tokyo International...

It has been about 2-3 months since we last saw Morisato Keiichi and Belldandy. The devastation of their temple by the Lord of Terror, and the hardship and pain that they were involved in when fighting the Lord of Terror (Let alone the damage around Tokyo) was all for preventing the dark forces from breaking the demon seal. After the battle, Keiichi, Belldandy, Urd and Skuld had to repair most of the temple and its grounds. Most of the temple foundations were repaired by Urd and Belldandy's magic, the inside of the temple had to be mostly refurbished though, which caused a few setbacks in finances. Skuld has been building some contraptions and machines to help ease the repairs, she also made repairs to Banpei (who was damaged in the battle). All in all, the temple was restored to its former glory like the incident never happened.

The same couldn't be said for Keiichi's bike (as it was used as a strength enhancer in battle), fortunately, the Motor club took pity on the two and provided their three wheel pickup as a replacement while Keiichi looks for a new bike, upon one condition, he has to use the vehicle to promote the Motor club (As it is coming up to Open day again and they need new members). So to fit the quota Keiichi does a few drives around Tokyo to promote the club, handing out leaflets when people asked.

Right now, the two are making their drive back home after another average promo drive (they only handed out half of the flyers this week), it is come to the weekend and so it is now time to rest for a while before repeating the same thing next week. However, a small traffic jam is making things difficult in terms of getting back. Still Keiichi was happy that everything has turned out OK and that nothing has really changed. Belldandy is still by his side, her warm, sweet presence still there, she resealed her powers after the battle, returning her hair back to its usual light brown and the markings on her face to their usual blue diamond and triangles.

Keiichi: (sighs) So much for an early promotion drive, no flyers handed out today and a traffic jam means our chances of paying the senpais back are going to be short.

Belldandy: If we do one more drive tomorrow, we may be able to increase our chances.

Keiichi: Hmm... I would like to have one day to rest over this before the Motor club meets on Monday.

Belldandy: Nee-san said she could help.

Keiichi: I think that would create an opposite effect.

Back at the airport...

The taxi turned up on time, Michael put his luggage into the car and was about to get in when Yuna's senses kicked in.

Yuna: Michael!

Michael looked to find the door on the taxi suddenly close on him, he tries to open it but it was locked. The taxi drives off quickly as Yuna suddenly heard a voice in her head.

Marller: SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR CHARGE YUNA! 

The taxi roared off though the car park and out of the exit, it skidded on to the main road, accidentally crashing in to Keiichi's car. Keiichi got knocked as his truck is crashed into, falling on to Belldandy. Belldandy saw the taxi drive off in the distance, she then looked at Keiichi.

Belldandy: Are you alright, Keiichi-san?

Keiichi: Yeah

He sits back up, slightly bruised. He looks out of the front, wondering where the taxi went.

Keiichi: Some maniac driver...my senpais are not going to like this.

He noticed the engine died as a result of the crash, so he try to start it again. As he does, Belldandy noticed a young woman was running up to them. She had medium brown hair, elegantly styled. She had one blue and one green eye and wore a wood earring on her right ear, partly concealed by her hair. She wore a sliver necklace with a hibiscus flower in the middle. She wore a white, crossed top covering her black bikini, a yellow obi (pre-tied belt) embroiled with hibiscus flowers and long light ivory to pink sleeves (separated from the actual costume) on her arms. She wore a navy blue skirt with pink hibiscus embroidery down to her feet and small-heeled black boots. She wore two silver rings and two bracelets (one pearl and one silver), which are partly concealed in her sleeves.

As she approached them a sudden surge affected Belldandy and the woman for a bit, immediately a small stare between them occurred as Belldandy leaned over to see her. 

Belldandy (Thinks): Could this be...

Yuna: Please help me, my boyfriend has been kidnapped in a taxi while we were at the airport and driven off erratically.

Keiichi: You mean the taxi that stormed through this traffic jam has your friend inside.

Yuna: Yes, please save him!

Keiichi (Thinks): I have to get back, but i can't turn my back on her...

He looks at Belldandy.

Keiichi (Thinks): ...And Belldandy, she is looking at her somewhat differently than usual. What is with this woman?

Keiichi: OK, Lets go.

Yuna: Thank you

Yuna climbs on to the back of the truck, Keiichi opens the cab section's hatch.

Keiichi: Hang on!

And so they setted off and left the traffic jam, sure they were driving on the wrong side of the road, but that didn't matter now. What matter is catching up to the taxi. It wasn't long as, through serving through the ruined traffic they caught up to the Taxi, which was coming up to a mountain pass. They noticed the taxi was not indicating.

Keiichi: Its going to crash through the barrier!

Immediately, Belldandy used her magic to stop the taxi. She looks out through the right window and showed her right hand.

Belldandy: Spirits of the wind, form like nails, bust the tires.

A gust of wind formed in her hand and then propelled at the taxi's tires, bursting all the tires and sending it skidding into the barrier. The taxi became slanted over the mountain. The truck skidded sideways and stopped. Yuna saw Michael attempting to get himself out, shouting out to Yuna.

Yuna: Michael!

Yuna raised her right hand while standing on the cargo section of the truck. She closed her eyes and used her telekinesis on the taxi's door and tried to open it. The taxi door started to tear open and was ripped apart. Michael immediately jumped out of the taxi (Holding his luggage!) as soon as the door was removed, with the taxi fall off the mountain as he jumped. Michael passed out as he did, he tried to stay awake but he couldn't due to the injures when he was bashed around in the taxi. The last thing he saw before he passed out was...

Yuna: Michael! Michael! Speak to me!

Keiichi: Lets get him to our home...

Michael started to slowly wake up again to find himself looking at Yuna who looked concerned at first. The concern shown on Yuna soon disappeared and was replaced with a sweet smile and a happy face.

Michael: Yuna?

Yuna: Michael, your alive! Thank the spirits!

Michael: What happened?

Yuna: Someone was wanting to kill you, they trapped you in a taxi and was going to drive it off a mountain.

Michael was about to sit up when he felt Yuna's hands on his body, she softly pushes him back down.

Yuna: Rest Mikey, you have not been fully healed.

With that Michael eases back down, noticing that he is laying his head back on Yuna's lap. He looked ahead and watched as Yuna puts her hands on the wounds around Michael's body, firstly the legs, then the sides of his body, then his hands. With each heal he felt this strange warm force going through him as the wound subsided and disappeared. She then looked down at Michael and smiled sweetly before speaking in her sweet warm voice.

Yuna: There, better?

Michael: Better.

They smiled again until they suddenly heard the door open, Michael realises that they were in a traditional Japaneses house, he sat up as two people walked into the room. The first was a man in his early 20s with short spiky black hair and deep brown eyes. His face showed no features yet it was handsome nevertheless. He wears a white T-shirt and black trousers.

The other was a young pretty woman also looking like she is in her early 20s. She has long light brown hair, tied in a ponytail and deep blue eyes. She has a blue diamond shape symbol on her forehead and two blue triangles below the sides of her eyes. She was wearing a yellow camisole top and yellow trousers. She wears two gold earrings, two gold bangles and two gold rings. She smiled to Michael as he started to blush a little.

Yuna: Thanks again, Keiichi-san, for saving my boyfriend.

Keiichi: It's nothing, but who are you anyway?

Yuna: My apologies, let me not hide from you anymore.

She stands up and closes her eyes a white mist appears around her for a few seconds before disappearing. Keiichi saw Yuna's illusion form (which with is a mental illusion formed in normal people's minds to disguise her as an a ordinary Japanese girl) disappear and he now sees her in her true form, appearing as a game character from Final fantasy X. She opens her eyes again and smiles at him sweetly.

Keiichi gasped in a similar way that he did when he saw Belldandy for the first time. 

Yuna: My name is Yuna, a dreamer spirit.

Keiichi: Dreamer...spirit?

Belldandy: She is a spiritual being from heaven sent to protect and care for her charge. They save people from self-harm and make them feel happy and cared. The dreamer is based on the imagination of their charge.

Keiichi: I see, thats why she is based on a game character.

Belldandy: Dreamers come from heaven to repair and protect men who are at risk from harming themselves. They will protect, care, help and support their charge so long as he does not abuse her for his own gains. They are their true loves and will never leave them.

Michael: If it wasn't for Yuna, i would not wanted to live anymore.

Yuna: And i will never leave my friend as i care for him so much.

Michael: Who are you two anyway?

Keiichi: I'm Morisato Keiichi, but you can call me Keiichi.

Belldandy: Goddess first class, second category, unlimited. My name is Belldandy.

Yuna: She is one of the goddesses of fate who watch over earth and grant wishes to those who earn the spirit world's grace. When she appeared to Keiichi, he initially thought it was a prank done by his fellow students but he was wrong. He wished for Belldandy to be with him always, with his wish granted she now stays with him and their relationship has evolved in a similar way to ours.

Keiichi: So you both perform a similar function?

Yuna: No, we are similar to each other as we watch over the earth. But we follow a different way of life and duty.

Keiichi: What do you mean?

Urd: It means that her kind does something you did on Belldandy thousands of times over.

Everyone turned to the door to find in the doorway a voluptuous and seductive brown skinned woman with long silver hair and deep purple eyes. She has a blue triangle on her forehead and two small oval marks below the sides of her eyes. She wears a black Chinese dress, two silver bangles and two plain silver rings.

Urd: Second category, limited to supervision. I'm Urd, Belldandy's older sister.

Yuna gives a bow to Urd.

Urd: As i was saying, no one ever wished for a goddess to be by their client's side. With the exception of course of you, Keiichi. But a dreamer was designed to be by their client always, so everything was already prepared for a dreamer to live on earth without any problems or implications. 

Urd looked at the two with a dreamy glare over them.

Urd (Playful): Ahh... what true love between them. 

Michael blushed even more as a result of this playful gesture, let alone Urd being in the same room as Yuna and Belldandy.

Belldandy: Nee-san, you're embarrassing Michael-san.

Michael: Ah... no, it's nothing really.

Yuna: Michael has a weakness when it comes to girls. But he always stays close to me.

Skuld: You see Keiichi! Why didn't you have a dreamer spirit like her rather than my onee-sama!

Soon after that, a young girl of about 12 stepped into the room. She had long black hair and dark brown eyes. She had three outlined triangles on her forehead and below the sides of her eyes. She wore silver earrings with a ruby jewel in each. She is wearing a casual blue shirt and white shorts. 

Keiichi: It's not like that... 

Belldandy: Keiichi may not have been mostly successful in his life before i met him, but he never wanted to end his life.

Yuna: Unlike Michael, most of his life has been tainted by hurt, loss and neglect. And nearly every day, he would break down and cry and think that he may never want to see the next day.

Skuld: But...

Yuna kneels down to Skuld. 

Yuna: You are lucky, you have a older sister who cares about you and everyone around her, the warmth and love from her makes everyone happy in one way or another. Michael didn't have that till i came, his family wanted him to be something he is not and forced him to be a part of it. Everyone should make their choices in life, not to be forced by others of higher position. Time after time, he was hurt, betrayed, abused and exploited by those around him. He even accused himself as inferior and a defect and even thought he was hurting others just by being alive. I showed that he is not a defect and that he does have someone who cares about him. I care about him so much that i will never let go. Never.

Skuld: Oh, so you are his ideal friend?

Yuna: Yes.

Skuld is amazed... a young woman with similar characteristics to her role model was sent  from the heavens to love and to care for someone lost.

Yuna: Everyone gets lost now and then, its takes a special person to shine their warmth over the lost and make them feel safe and warm.

Yuna stands up and looks at the rest of the family.

Yuna: Thank you all for helping us, once Michael feels better, we should get going.

Urd: Hold up...

They all look at Urd.

Urd: Something here doesn't fit... Michael was about to be killed in the transportation assigned by whoever planned the holiday. 

Keiichi: What do you mean?

Urd: Yuna, do you have the tickets with you?

Yuna: I have a part of the ticket left.

Urd: Show me.

Yuna pulls out the remaining parts of her ticket which was concealed in her obi and shows it to Urd. Keiichi and Belldandy look over Urd as she looks at the ticket. The ticket was meant to be broken into five so that each section can be given to the respective holder (flight to Japan, transfer to hotel,hotel reservation, transfer from hotel, flight home). The top part of the ticket was already teared off, and so would have been the next part had it not been for the attempt on Michael's life.

Urd: This is an unusual ticket, where did you get this?

Yuna: From a competition back home. It was a 9 nights holiday to Japan for two, with everything arranged.

Urd: Hmm... i have a feeling that one of you was going to be killed while being transferred to the hotel. This 5 strip ticket would just be a illusion to make the holiday look legitimate but i haven't seen tickets like this being used. 

Yuna: What do you mean?

Urd: You saw Michael being driven out in the taxi while he was looking at you. Someone  wants to break you two up and will go to the point of actually killing one of you. 

Keiichi: But who?

Urd: I don't know, but i have a hunch that only the flight to Japan was the only part booked and that the taxi was a rigged ordeal by the assailant, the only way to prove my theory is for someone to check the hotel part of this ticket and see if there was a room booked for Yuna and Michael.

Michael: Sounds like a plan.

Urd: Yes, but as soon as you and Yuna leaves the temple you could be at risk from the assailant. One of you has to stay here while the other goes with one of us.

Skuld: This isn't really you Urd, looking after someone else.

Urd: Well... someone sure cares about them. 

Skuld wonders what she meant and then when Urd eyed Belldandy it all became clear. Belldandy was looking at Michael and Yuna with such concern, she knows exactly how they feel. Urd immediately resumes the conversation.

Urd: Keiichi, you go with Yuna to the hotel on this ticket. Regardless of what happens you must return here after. 

Urd gives back Yuna's ticket

Keiichi: Umm...OK

Urd: We will look after Michael for you while you are gone.

Belldany: Yes, don't worry about Michael-san, Yuna-sama.

Yuna: But i...

Yuna was in deep thought here, she would be leaving his charge for a while, will it be safe without her. Then she remembered, he is with 3 goddesses so it should not be any problems.

Yuna:... Yes. I leave him with you.

And so Keiichi and Yuna left the room.

Urd: You two make a fine couple, Michael. She really protects and cares for you.

Michael: One thing that concerns me, i don't know any Japanese yet you was able to understand and speak to me.

Belldandy: Oh, that because goddesses and dreamers understand all the languages on Earth. We speak in what languages we need and prefer.

Urd: For example, Yuna prefers to speak in her native Japanese language, but will speak in her charge's language as well.

Michael: What about Keiichi?

Belldandy: Keiichi-san took lessons in English and German, so he would be able to talk with you without problems.

She sweetly smiles to Michael, Michael blushed as a result. Already Michael was starting  to like his new friends , he would have been considered as lucky as Keiichi here but at the moment, it is an uneasy stay for him until Yuna gets back, so he will make the most of the host's convenience.

Expectations
Nekomi, South east Tokyo, Japan.
Saturday 2PM

Keiichi and Yuna head out to the hotel shown on Yuna's ticket, using Keiichi's loaned 3 wheel pickup. Unfortunately the traffic hasn't picked up, obviously due to the incident a few hours ago.

Keiichi: This traffic hasn't died down after the accident.

Keiichi noticed Yuna was sleeping or thats what he thought she was doing. Yuna is actually using her psy powers to see ahead from her, a power known as “remote viewing”. She noticed the traffic jam occurred due to the “accident” and the backlog of traffic due to that.

Yuna opened her eyes and told this to Keiichi.

Yuna:  The “accident” earlier has caused the involved roads to be blocked, this is why traffic jams are occurring here.

Keiichi: I thought you were sleeping.

She looks and smiles sweetly to him.

Yuna: I was using my psychic powers to look ahead from here, its one of the skills i have.

Keiichi: So Dreamers have psychic abilities?

Yuna: Not all, the imagination of the charge forges most of the dreamer. From their appearance to their skills. Each dreamer is uniquely created from the charge's dreams and hopes.

Keiichi: So you are everything Michael dreamt of?

Yuna: Yes. Though i do have a few special traits every dreamer has.

Keiichi: Special traits?

Yuna: Yes. I can go invisible at any time and can alter someone's thoughts.

Keiichi: You won't be doing that on me, will you?

Yuna: Of course not, Keiichi-san.

Keiichi is surprised and interested, Yuna is almost exactly like Belldandy in every way, even to the point that she addresses him as Keiichi-san.

Keiichi: So, what is Michael like?

Yuna: He is a brave, courageous, kind tiger of a man. He has a strong spirit and a kind heart. Yet when i meet him for the first time, i saw a differently side of him, a side of loneliness, loss, pain, hurt, betrayal and despair. Like, he was just a defect that nobody wants to care about, that was what he said to me once.

Keiichi:  But was it just a one-off period for him?

Yuna: What do you mean?

Keiichi: I mean, was he in a depression for a small period of time?

Yuna: No... He was in a downhill state of depression for 10 years. His father left him when he was 6 and was forced to move to a new house by him when he was 9. He was bullied in primary and secondary school with no sense of justice or hope during the time. And the rest of his family just doesn't seem to care about him, he was always displaced or forced. When he cried, they didn't care for him, they didn't comfort him or even give him a shoulder to cry on, even when he was bullied. His work at collage got more difficult and they didn't give him any break, he said that his brother got all the convenience he ever hoped for and not him. His ideas and thoughts were not just about him but about others who were repressed by people who were in a higher position.

Keiichi: That's not just sad but terrible.

Yuna: But that didn't stop him from believing and hoping that someone will come and save him from his fears. Ever since he saw me on trailers, video reviews, images and covers of  Final fantasy X, he thought that i was the dream woman who would saving him from this madness. He even thought of me as a fairy, a nymph and even an angel. Then one day, his wish for his dream came true.

Yuna: One day, he saved a middle aged woman from a group of thugs, the woman was a gypsy who gave Michael a doll which was done in a similar image to me. The doll was designed to anchor me into reality and transport me to earth. The same night he save the gypsy, he whispered his cry for help. And then overnight i emerged from the doll and became his dreamer.

Yuna was about to continue when Keiichi noticed the traffic picking up, they drove to the hotel designated on the ticket. They then entered the hotel and went to the receptionist.

Yuna: I have a room reserved for me and a friend of mine for this holiday.

She pulls out her ticket out of her backpack and gives it to the receptionist. The receptionist took a peculiar look at the ticket before checking the room number and ticket number on the machine. After a while the receptionist looks at Yuna and Keiichi and replies.

Receptionist: I'm sorry, i can't find any reservations based on this ticket.

Yuna: Can you check for any reservations for a “Braska Yuna” or a “Michael Morpan” then, please?

Receptionist: OK, but i doubt there is any reservations under that name.

She keys in a search for Yuna and as expected, there was no resevation for anyone named “Braska Yuna” or “Michael Morpan”

Receptionist: Sorry, no such reservations exist. 

The Receptionist returns the ticket to her.

Receptionist: I'm afraid if you don't have a reservation, you are not allowed to stay in the hotel. Sorry for any inconvenience.

With that they left, Keiichi and Yuna are going to have to break the bad news to Michael and as they drove back home, Keiichi saw Yuna looking sad as a result.

Yuna (Thinks): Guess Michael-san may never have such a holiday then. 

Or so Yuna thought...

Nekomi, South east Tokyo, Japan.
Saturday 3PM

Michael was having tea alongside Belldandy and Urd in the living room as they got to know each other while Skuld was doing some repairs around the house with her machinery. Michael was having the time of his life, sitting by two beautiful women was making him slightly blush causing him to shake his head from time to time to attempt to get back to reality.

Michael: So Urd, despite being manipulate in attempting to bring you and Keiichi's relationship up a level,she really cares about you, Belldandy.

Belldandy: Yes, just that nee-san sometimes will go to any length to achieve her goals.

Michael: Well i say, Urd didn't need to rush your relationship, she should have let it take its course.

Belldandy: Umm... Michael-san... i shouldn't...

Urd: Its OK Belldandy, i learnt from my mistakes.

Michael: What do you mean?

Before he could answer, Keiichi and Yuna returned to the temple. Keiichi left his sneakers outside and Yuna left her black boots outside as well. They went into the living room. 

Keiichi: We're back

Keiichi stays in the doorway as Yuna went to Michael, Michael noticed she was trying to smile but she was really sad.

Michael: You OK Yuna?

Yuna: Yes...I'm alright.

Michael: You don't look like it.

Urd: Well Keiichi, what happened?

Keiichi: The ticket is a fake, there was no room booked for either of them.

As soon as he said that, Yuna broke down in Michael's arms.

Yuna (Crying): I'm so sorry Michael, i wanted make your dream come true but...

Michael stands up and put his hands on her hands.

Michael: Its all right, you didn't know that the tickets weren't real.

Yuna (Crying) : But, by trying to make your dreams come true yet not being careful. I failed you as a true friend.

Michael: You never let me down Yuna, no matter where we go or what we do. Having a girlfriend like you by my side,someone of beauty, brains, brawn and spirit, this is a dream that i don't want to wake up from.

Belldandy looked at the them with a mixture of concern and happiness, it is like a mirror image of her relationship with Keiichi, yet the image isn't distorted or flipped but exactly the same. She then smiled sweetly as she announced her idea to the problem.

Belldandy: Yuna-sama

Yuna looked at Belldandy.

Belldandy: Why don't you stay here for your holiday?

Michael: Umm... i don't want to...

Yuna: Can you?

Belldandy: Yes, we have 2 spare futons and two rooms in the back of the house. You can sleep there if wish.

Michael: But is it inconvenient for you?

Belldandy: No.

Michael: What about you, Urd?

Urd: Well, we have had a guest before in the temple, so it isn't really a problem, especially since Yuna is a dreamer spirit. I don't think Skuld won't mind either.

Keiichi: Our previous guest didn't know about the goddesses identity,so magic was not allowed to be used at the time, but since the goddesses know about dreamer spirits, it won't change how we live significantly.

Michael: Well, we do have a lot in common but...

Yuna made a slight squeeze on Michael's hands making Michael look at Yuna.

Yuna: Please Michael, lets live with our new friends. You wanted to visit Japan, and i want to make that dream come true for you. I won't let anyone stand in the way of this dream, let alone others. I won't let the forces who tried to take you away from me ,and me away from you, succeed in their dark goals. Please Michael-san, let our friends help you with your dream.

Michael felt he wanted to cry in Yuna's arms, she was going to do everything in her power to make his dreams come true and won't let anyone who plans to stop them stand in her way.

Michael (Thinks): She is so protective and possessive about me. I feel so warm and cared with her by my side. Without her, i am lost and alone and if she was without me, she would be lost. Is this what true love is? The bond that protects both of them no matter who tries to split them up?

He looks at Keiichi, Belldandy and Urd and replied.

Michael: OK, we will stay.

Belldandy: I'm so glad.

Keiichi: Well, i better inform Skuld about this.

Urd: And i better prepare the rooms.

Keiichi: Don't enchant the rooms with anything manipulate Urd.

Urd: I can't manipulate a dreamer and her charge, Keiichi. It would violate my license, and that is the last thing i would need. (Playful) So don't you worry.

Keiichi breaths a sigh of relief as he leaves, Urd follows him out as well. As they left Michael turned to Yuna and hugged her.

Michael: Yuna, my angel, thank you.

Never leave you

Michael and Yuna finished hugging each other and looked at each other in their dreamy love state. Both of them just couldn't think of what would sum up their responses to Belldandy's invitation to stay in her house. Then again, they realized that as they were hugging each other, Belldandy was watching them. So they lightly let themselves go and sat down, both of them slightly blushing.

Michael: Erm... sorry about that Belldandy.

She shows a clueless reply by tilting her head slightly, with her face showing a sign of confusion. 

Meanwhile, Keiichi was explaining the situation to Skuld (who was in her room, making the final repairs to Banpei)

Keiichi: So they will be staying with us for a week until the flight back home. If this concerns you, I'm sorry.

Skuld: No,  i don't mind. Onee-sama would do such things... (dreamy) and i want to do such things too.

Keiichi: Well, maybe you will someday. Right now...

Suddenly, Banpei suddenly switched itself on and looked at Keiichi. It blinked twice before returning.

Skuld: Oh, just checking Banpei-kun's memory, the last battle we had almost destroyed it so i am running a few checks on it. It should be ready by tomorrow.

Keiichi: Don't let it attack our guests will you?

Skuld: Hmm... it will need to meet them first so it can identify them as its friends. Then it will be like before.

Meanwhile, back in the lounge, Urd returns to Michael, Yuna and Belldandy.

Urd: Michael, Yuna, Your rooms are ready.

Yuna: Urd-sama, erm... i know this sounds strange but... can i share Michael-san's room please?

Michael and Belldandy looked at Yuna with a surprised look on their faces.

Michael: Why?

Yuna: Your happiness is what makes me happy, Michael-san. Having you laugh and smiling, and even comforting and worrying for me, is not just my duty, it is my dream. I don't want you to get hurt or be upset Michael, i will stay by you and protect you. That's why i would like to sleep by you every night here, so my warmth and protection will keep  you safe.

Michael: Yuna. Thank you very much.

Urd: So, one room it is. I will make the amendments.

And so Urd left again to make the changes.

Belldandy: Michael-san, do you know any of the customs here in Japan?

Michael: To be honest, i don't really know many of the customs or most of the language here.

Yuna: I will teach you some of them Mikey. As well as translate for you when needed.

Keiichi returns to the lounge and sits by Belldandy

Keiichi: Skuld has been informed, she doesn't mind having guests again. Though i wonder if Banpei will accept you.

Michael: Banpei?

Belldandy: Yes, It is Skuld's guard robot, it defends our house from attacks.

Michael: It seems she has a great interest in machinery.

Belldandy: Yes, she is renowned in Heaven for her creation of various machines.

Keiichi: She usually finds parts round the house in which to build them though, which has had its good and bad moments.

Yuna: What do you mean?

Keiichi: She sometimes borrows parts without asking in order to build her contraptions, it is nothing problematic....

Michael: It is just annoying.

Keiichi: If you can say that.

Michael: Sounds like my older brother!

They all laughed at that moment. Urd then walked in again.

Urd: Your room is ready if you want to move your stuff in.

Yuna: Yes, thank you Urd-sama!

She gives a bow to her before she and Michael took their bags and followed Urd out to their room. It was a room at the back of the temple near to Keiichi's and Urd's rooms. The room itself was a unfurnished room with a door leading out to the grounds and a door leading into the temple corridors, plus two futons laid out in the center ,side by side. Urd opens the door to their room and shows them.

Urd: Here we are!

Michael immediately pulled himself into the room (as he was carrying his luggage, which was heavy) and placed it on the floor, Yuna followed in as well and took off her backpack and placed it on the floor as well. Michael was panting for a bit from the weight of his luggage before standing up again.

Urd: I'll leave you to it. 

And so Urd closed the door on the room and left. Inside, Michael's happy thoughts about actually staying on holiday despite what has happened appeared on the outside as well as the inside, as he smiled to Yuna again. She sweetly smiled back and once again, the blooming chemistry between the two blossomed once more.

Curious peace

The blossoming love between them surfaced again as time once again seems to slow down, from luck they managed to come to Japan and from friendship they managed to stay for their holiday. Of course, time catches up once more when they realised they haven't unpacked! So they immediately went to work unpacking their bags.

Michael brought with him 5 fleeces and sweaters, 7 t-shirts, 7 trousers, 2 pairs of pyjamas and  14 pairs of pants and socks. He also brought his camera, an Ipod (complete with charging kit), 2 notepads, 2 pens and some computer magazines as well as a few toiletries. He laid them in the drawers which was in the room.

Yuna checked her backpack containing her own toiletries and her beautiful jewellery box and placed her backpack by the side of Michael's bags.

With the unpacking done, it was time for them to acquaint themselves with the traditions of Japan. Yuna kneels down by one of the futons and takes off the top sheet, she lies down  on the bed and puts the top sheet back on, she smiles afterwards. Michael knelled by her.

Michael: Are you going to sleep in your kimono every night?

Yuna looks at Michael.

Yuna: No, i will think of some clothes for wearing in bed.

She smiles sweetly to him as she finished her response.

Yuna: You should check your futon too.

Michael: OK

Michael goes to his futon and picks up the top sheet, he lies on to the bottom sheet and puts the top sheet back on. It was perfect, it would be just like getting into his bed back home, only with a hard surface. He turns and looks at Yuna.

Yuna: You like it?

Michael: Yes, it is just like a normal bed, only with a hard surface.

Yuna: You will get use to it. If you want, i can use my magic to help you sleep.

Michael: I will see how it goes at first. One thing's for sure, i won't be sleeping in these clothes!

They both immediately laughed. The happiness and warmth keeps on blossoming between them so much, no-one would think that they are naturally shy. Yuna then gets out of her futon, she dusts her clothes and fixes her hair before saying to Michael.

Yuna: I am going to look around the place, want to come?

Michael: Nah, i going to lie back and play some music.

Yuna: OK, i will see you soon then.

She sweetly smiles to him before leaving the room. She notices on the outside of her room a sign placed on the paper wall, it was in Japanese and it read “Guest bedroom”. Their room was opposite Urd's room and by the side of Keiichi's room.

She walked out into the temple gardens. The gardens although slightly disfigured, were still as beautiful and graceful as before, though of course for Yuna this is the first time for her to take notice of the garden. She closes her eyes as she admires the pure beauty around her, from the wind blowing though her clothes and hair to even a few birds sitting on her, as she noticed this she opens her eyes and smiles to them. Some even went on her arms and so she raises her arms so that they were horizontally level, like a scarecrows arms.

Urd: You seem to enjoy being out here.

Yuna turns to face Urd, the birds fly off her and so she stands up properly with her arms by her side..

Yuna: Yes Urd-sama, being with nature's spirits, its warm energy surrounding me. The sun's heat, the rain's drops, the snow's flakes. It is like a home to me.

Urd: I see...

Belldandy then walked up to the two.

Belldandy: Yuna-sama, umm... i will be doing dinner soon.

Yuna: Thank you, i will inform Michael-san of this, he is in the bedroom.

Belldandy: Umm... can Michael-san eat with chopsticks?

Yuna:  No, he doesn't know many customs here I'm afraid. I will try to teach him.

And with that, Yuna left for the temple's bedrooms. Urd lets out a small giggle as she comments.

Urd: My,my... I think we are going to have a entertaining night.

Slowly but surely
Saturday 7PM

The time came round for dinner, Michael has been getting used to the room which he, alongside Yuna, will be using for his holiday. Everything was new to him, even though he has watch numerous animé. Yet despite this, he learnt quickly.

Now the six members in the temple were having dinner, it was yuugohan (evening rice) and meatballs and vegetables, all cooked to perfection by Belldandy. The six have just sat down, with Belldandy and Keiichi sitting on one end of the table, Yuna and Michael on another end, and Urd and Skuld on the opposite sides. Finally Banpei was outside, peering though one of the doors and observing the actions of Michael and Yuna to the rest of the group.

Belldandy, Urd, Skuld, Keiichi & Yuna:  Itadakimasu

Michael abruptly saying the same thing...

Michael: Itadakimasu

And they began to eat. But as expected, Michael was having difficulty accepting the custom of eating with chopsticks, he grabbed one of the meatballs and was about to pull it up to him when it slipped off the chopstick and fell back in to his food, causing the gravy to splash on to him!

Michael: Oh!!!

Belldandy looked at him with a confused look and then sweetly smiled. Michael looked at her and slightly blushed.

Michael (Thinks): She didn't mind that, i think she knows i am new to this and so won't mind if i slip up. But, i need to eat so how can i do it without relying on the usual cutlery.

Then he felt a warm feeling on his right hand, he looked down to find Yuna holding it as she slowly lifts it. He looked at Yuna and she looked at him, smiling sweetly to him.

Yuna: Here, let me help you.

She continued to smile as she gently raise his hand making sure she clenched his so not to drop the meatball as she picked it up, she raised it up to Michael and he eat the meatball off it. She smiles as he eats it. 

Yuna: You see, just clench on to the food when you pick it up.

And slowly but surely Michael tried to eat with chopsticks, each time he messed up, Yuna was there to assist him, gently letting go of his hand when he was ready. It felt like spoon-feeding at first, but gradually, Michael got better and soon was able to eat without any problems. Yuna smiled at her success of helping him adapt to this custom. Keiichi and Belldandy also was happy about this. Urd took the event with her usual mischievous nature, proving that it was going to be an entertaining night. 

Of course, the night wasn't going to be just about the guests getting use to Japanese food, there was also going to be discussion.

Keiichi: So Michael, tell me a bit more about yourself.

Michael: Well, I'm a collage student studying information communication technology. That's computer based work to be blunt.

Keiichi: I study Motor vehicles at Nekomi Institute of Technology. I am also part of the collage's motor club.

Michael: I see your dedicated to your work then.

Keiichi: Yes, it is difficult at times, but i get by.

Michael: Same here, well recently...

Both Keiichi and Michael realised that both of their lives improved because of their partners. This is why they feel good about themselves, despite all the hardships faced at collage, they never have had any doubts into if they can do it because of the commitment, support and help of their partners, Yuna and Belldandy.

Michael: ...I mean, before the work took was so hard and my parents didn't give me any space to do my work, i felt that I...

The rest of the group looked at him, wondering why he stopped. As much as Michael tried to, he couldn't continue what he was saying, it was blocked by a subconscious command that made him unable to recall any bad thoughts. Yuna looked at him and read his mind, she knew the post-hypnotic commands were blocking his lonely past he had ,so she had to complete his line. 

Yuna:... felt lonely?

Michael: Yes, lonely. Until you came, Yuna.

Michael knew it was a bit of a thorn in some cases not to recall some of his past, but it was for the best. Yuna didn't want his past to harm him or make him feel alone and defective from everyone around him, so she makes sure that Michael is always happy and loved and never wants to look back.

That night, the group was all in bed (Even Belldandy, who had to sleep for some time to recharge the mana she used). Unfortunately, Michael isn't the kind of sleeper who can adapt quickly to new environments , as a result he had trouble sleeping on the hard surface. Seeing he wasn't getting anywhere, he got out of his futon and opened the door leading out into the temple gardens. He sat on the fringe of the temple supports and looked up for a while.

Michael (Thinks): This is what i have always dreamed of, being here, in the land of the rising sun. Some will do anything to be here, and some (Looking at his bedroom) just dream and they are here.

Keiichi: You can't get to sleep?

He looks up to Keiichi, who was still wearing his white t-shirt and black trousers.

Michael: Nah, always happens the first night on holiday.

Keiichi sits down by Michael

Michael: No matter how hard i try to get to sleep, i just can't until i am in bed for 2-4 hours. No matter if it is a soft bed like at home or a sleeping bag or futon like here. But it always occurs on the first day, after that, i sleep well.

Keiichi: But you like how you are going to sleep here?

Michael: Of course, in fact, i like most of the Japanese culture. I would happily trade in my western roots for it, course i would need to learn Japanese and hand over my British citizenship.

Keiichi: But wouldn't you miss your home country?

Michael: Hmm, maybe... maybe not.

Keiichi wonders what he means by that, however, he wasn't curious so he changed the question.

Keiichi: So, what happened when you met her for the first time?

Michael: Met who?

Keiichi: You know.

Michael: Ah... Yuna... well, i had a strange dream one night about her, i was walking across the forest, injured and i fell on to the ground, i looked up and i saw this dark mist surrounding me, i felt i was going to be consumed by this, until i heard a beautiful melodious voice and then a blinding white light, destroying the dark mist. I opened my eyes to find her in front of me, telling me if i was alright. Before i could answer, i woke up. However, the dream seemed to continue while i was awake, for as i about to go to sleep again, i heard that sweet voice again.

Michael: A part of me wanted to dismiss it as left my bed to do breakfast. When i got to the kitchen i noticed there was some sandwiches on the table. My family had left for work so these sandwiches must have been for me. It became even more delightful when i pulled back the top layer of the sandwich to find it was bacon, covered with brown sauce. It became even more pleasant when i ate the sandwiches, as they were the most tasty sandwiches i have ever eaten.

He looked up to the moon as he was about to continue.

Michael: And that's when i met her... 

Michael:  As i was eating my sandwiches, i saw Yuna walk into the dining room (which is connected to the lounge of where i was eating) and was looking at me. At first i didn't know who she is... well i did in some way but i was like confused... thinking “is this really her?”. She was smiling sweetly to me and her voice was so warm and sweet. It felt like you wanted to close your eyes just so you can listen to that voice and nothing else.

Michael: The smile disappeared and she started to show concern. She asked what was wrong and i asked who she was. She told me i was her friend, i tried to deny it but she said that i do have a friend now. I kept denying this, thinking that i couldn't be loved, but when she asked me to close my eyes, i was proven wrong.

Keiichi: Why is that?

Michael looked back at Keiichi

Michael: After i closed my eyes, i then felt this warmth on my cheeks and then my lips were smothered by her warm lips. I felt this strange warm feeling going through me, all the loss and neglect seem to erode away and all the complements and happiness which i needed flooded my mind and started to melt my heart. I felt so warm and cared, that when i opened my eyes again i just felt so happy. And then when we hugged each other she whispered down my ear this beautiful phase (Looking back at the moon) “I love you Michael. I really do.” 

Keiichi: You changed because of one kiss?

Michael: It might have just been one kiss... but it was a kiss 10 years overdue. Yet filled 10 years of overdue need. And it was just the first.

Keiichi: But this evening you couldn't be able to recall some of your past.

Michael: Yeah... Yuna wanted to know my past quickly, on top of that, she wanted to treat the mental wounds i suffered when i was depressed. So she hypnotised me, and after recalling my past, she made me unable to harm myself by remembering any bad memories. Unfortunately, after the hypnotherapy, we unwittingly realised that while i can't recall some of my past, others can. She blamed herself for harming me, but i told her that we all make mistakes, but it is how we fix those mistakes that cure the wounds. 

Keiichi: Same here. There were times that Belldandy thought she had harmed me or that was unable to save me, but i always comforted her because...because...

Michael: We care about them too.

They both smiled, as much as some people like to admit, nobody's perfect. Man, Woman, Human, Goddess or Dreamer; it is all the same, everyone has there own strengths,weaknesses,friends, family, emotions, personalty, approaches and goals in life and sometimes it can feel like it is not enough to someone else.

Michael then yawned, realising all that talking has made him tired.

Michael: I better get back to bed. All this talking has made me beat.

Keiichi:  Good night Michael.

Michael: You too.

And so Michael stands up and goes back to his room, Keiichi was going to return into the temple when he heard a small murmur and a whisper, for inside the room Michael had just slipped back into his futon and was about to sleep when Yuna partly opened her eyes and holding his hands, whispering.

Yuna (Whisper): Don't leave me Michael-san, i need you as you need me. We are together always, no matter what.

Hearing this, Keiichi smiles as he leaves for his room.

Wake up to trouble and strife!

Sunday 6AM

It is the first full day of Michael and Yuna's holiday, even though they didn't have a proper reservation at a hotel they were more than happy in staying with there new found friends. It is a Sunday, so it would be a day to rest at home for all of the group.

Belldandy was going to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the rest of the group. Along the way she noticed Yuna was meditating in the temple hall. Yuna was wearing her bedtime clothes consisting of a light pink camisole top and dark pink trousers. There is a white star with a blue and brown outline in the centre of her top, with smaller stars all around the trousers. Belldandy goes up to greet her.

Belldandy: Good morning, Yuna-sama.

Yuna stopped meditating and stands up. She turns round to Belldandy in a twist that look  like part a graceful dance. She smiles to her as she spoke.

Yuna: Good morning, Belldandy-sama. Sleep well?

Belldandy: Yes

Yuna: That's good. Michael-san is still asleep, he doesn't usually sleep well on his first day on holiday.

Belldandy: Did you sleep well, Yuna-sama?

Yuna: Yes, thank you. 

Belldandy:Well, breakfast will be served soon, so please wait.

Yuna: Let me help you out, Belldandy-sama. It is the least i can do after you let us stay here for our holiday.

Belldandy: No, you don't need to repay me for your stay. I'm happy that you and Michael are still able to enjoy your holiday.

Yuna:Well, at least let me help you out.

Belldandy: OK

Yuna: Let me wake Michael up, take a bath and then i will help you serve breakfast.

Belldandy: Yes.

With that Yuna leaves Belldandy and goes to the guest quarter. She kneels down by Michael.
Yuna: Michael-san, it's time to wake up.

Michael struggles a bit before his eyes open slightly, he looks at Yuna.

Michael (Sleepy): Yuna, it's too early.

Yuna slightly nudges him a little as she sweetly replies.

Yuna:  I know sleepyhead, but Belldandy is doing us breakfast. OK?

Michael: OK, just let me wake up.

He then notices she was wearing her bedtime clothes.

Michael: So you did think of some clothes to wear in bed.

Yuna: Do you like them?

Michael: Of course! It suits you well.

Yuna: Well, i will be going to have a bath now, my tiger.

And with that she gives him a kiss on the forehead and then leaves for the bath room. Michael starts to blush from the kiss as he thought how beautiful he was woken up today (even if it was in the early morning), thoughts about last night's discussion with Keiichi raced though his head fast. Time felt like a blur as he thought about it (because he was half asleep).

Michael (Thinks): We have such a lot in common, both of us look like we would never have such a good life if it weren't for our partners; Who are unique in many ways, but that doesn't mean they are not perfect, they need us to call upon when things look bleak in their eyes.

Suddenly his deep thought was sweetly interrupted by a similar melodious voice.

Belldandy: Michael-san, i made you some tea.

His eyes open fully to find Belldandy looking over him, sweetly smiling to him as she was holding a tray. On the tray was a steaming cup of green tea.

Michael: Thank you, Belldandy.

He leans up and takes his cup of tea and drinks a bit of  it,with Belldandy smiling sweetly as he did. Michael smiled back to her after taking a sip of his tea.

Michael: This tastes fine, i will have to get use to the fact of not having milk.

Belldandy: Why?

Michael: English tea is usually a small bag of granulated tea leaves mixed with milk and\or sugar. I usually do tea back at home, especially when guests are coming.

Belldandy: Your sure sound like a lot like Keiichi-san when you say things like that.

Michael: Well...I...

He blushes after that response as all chances of continuing the conversation were in vain. He looks away in sheer embarrassment as he replies.

Michael: This is just silly... there is no way i am better than Keiichi.

Belldandy: Um, i didn't mean that your better than Keiichi-san.

Michael: I understand, neither of us are better than each other. In fact, if you look at all the things we do or try to do, we appear to have a lot in common.

Belldandy looks confused for a few seconds then sweetly smiles. Then Yuna calls out from the bathroom.

Yuna: Belldandy-sama, do you have a pair of slippers?

Belldandy: Yes, hold on for just a second.

She leaves Michael and heads to the front door, she picks out a pair of slippers and goes up to the bathroom door. She gives a small tap and the door slightly opens.

Belldandy: Here you go.

Yuna: Thank you, Belldandy-sama.

Yuna reaches out and takes the slippers from Belldandy and then closes the door. A few seconds later Yuna opens the door and appears in her pusedo-kimono only with a normal pair of slippers (as her purple boots have been left at the entrance, obviously due to the fact you don't wear outdoor shoes inside a traditional house.) 
She gives a bow to her and then goes back to the opened guest quarters. Inside the guest quarters she pulled out her jewellery box ( Contain most of her jewellery she wears with her pusedo-kimono.) from her backpack and puts on her jewellery. As this was happening, Belldandy goes up to Michael.

Belldandy: Michael-san, it is your turn to have a bath.

Michael: Umm, well, i don't usually have a bath every day. At home i just have a bath once a week to keep myself clean.

Belldandy: But, if you don't keep yourself clean, you will get tired.

Yuna kneels down besides Michael

Yuna: She's right Mikey, if your body isn't clean you will start to get weary. Besides, you want to know Japanese customs don't you?

Michael: Yes well, it feels like I'm wasting time.

Urd: But your on holiday, so you are wasting time!

Urd appears dressed with a bath towels wrapped round her body and forehead. It seems Michael has been overpowered by the three girls grace (and in Urd's case, wildness), causing him to blush bright red!

Michael: Umm... well... I'm not ready yet.

Urd: Of course you are! Come here!

Urd immediately grabs hold of Michael and pulls him to the bathroom. Belldandy and Yuna heard muffled responses as Urd taught Michael the basics of Japanesse bathing in her own special way. The only part Belldandy and Yuna managed to catch was:

Urd (from bathroom): Come on, you want to look handsome to Yuna!

Michael (from bathroom): Yes, but i told you, i wasn't ready. I haven't even managed to get my clothes from the bedroom!

Belldandy sighed as she closed the door to the guest quarters.

Belldandy: Geez nee-san. 

Yuna: I don't think you should worry about Michael. He can take care of himself.

Yuna then went to Michael's bag and pulled out some of his clothes.

Yuna: I will go and take these clothes to the changing room.

Belldandy: And i will get some slippers for him.

Knowing what to do, they open the door. Urd was outside the bathroom.

Urd: Michael's fine, he is taking his bath now. 

Yuna: Thank you, Urd-sama for helping him out. Even if it was a bit too drastic.

She tries her best to give a bow to Urd (Because she was holding Michael's clothes which made it slightly awkward) then goes to the changing room and drops off Michael's clothes. She whispers over the door to the bathroom (as the changing room and bathroom are also separated by a door leading into each other.

Yuna (Whisper): Michael-san, i dropped your clothes and a towel here.

Michael: Thank you, Yuna.

Belldandy went to the front door to pick up a pair of slippers. As this happened, Keiichi (Who has just got up) noticed Urd.

Urd: Keiichi, the bath is currently full, Michael is already in there. And I ,Belldandy and Skuld have not had a bath. 

Keiichi: Oh, you didn't force him into a bath?

Urd: Well, you should have heard the shouting going on at first! (Playfully) but he came round eventually.

Keiichi: You said you can't manipulate him or you will lose your licence.

Urd (Playful): I may not be able to manipulate him, but that doesn't mean i can't flirt and tease him! Besides, he seems to like it.

Keiichi: Yeah well, please treat him and Yuna as our guests. 

With that he returns to his  room (Obviously to wait for his turn to take a bath).Urd also returned to her room. 

A few seconds later, Belldandy arrived at the door to the bathroom,holding a pair of slippers.

Belldandy: Michael-san, it's time to come out.

Michael:OK

Belldandy: I brought you some slippers for inside the house.

Michael: Thanks, put them in the changing room.

Belldandy: Yes.

Belldandy puts the slippers in the changing room and then proceeds to the kitchen so she can start breakfast. Meanwhile, Michael got out of the bath and got changed. He is now wearing a light blue t-shirt, navy sweatshirt, and black trousers, complemented by a normal pair of slippers (as his trainers are left outside for the same reason as Yuna's outdoor footwear.). He breaths a sigh of relief as he leaves the bathroom.

Half an hour later and the rest of the group had their baths without problems. Breakfast (which was being done by Belldandy and Yuna) was almost done and the group was going into the lounge,ready to eat, when Michael noticed a strange machine in Skuld's room. 

Curious he enters and takes a look at it. It was a small robot with a big red body and yellow arms, legs, and head. It has red eyes and a black traditional hat. It holds a small wooden pole in its white glove hands. It was attached to three large black cables which are connected to a retro-fitted computer. 

Michael kneels down by the machine and looks at its face, unaware that the robot although on standby is observing him.

Michael: What a strange machine...hmm...

He noticed a small button on its back.

Michael: Only one button... guess this boots it.

He presses it and the bot suddenly stands up, he turns to Michael and from its built in console, registers him as “Insulted Self”. He selects from the menu “Normal attack>Automatic>Lock on”, and so he walks up to him and kicks him in the knee!

Michael: Oww! It was just figure of speech!

The bot goes up to him.

Michael: Look i was only wondering what you are. There is no need to...

The bot shuts him up with a whack from his pole. Fortunately, Skuld was just walking by when she noticed Michael in her room. She rushed in and broke up the supposed fight.

Skuld: Banpei-kun, stop!

The bot ceased and stepped back slightly from Michael.

Skuld: Michael is our guest, please treat him with respect.

The bot gives a nod. Skuld then goes up to Michael, obviously furious.

Skuld: Didn't someone tell you that curiosity killed the cat!

Michael: Sorry, but i noticed it and just wanted to look at it.

Skuld: Don't go into other peoples rooms without permission, even you should know.

Michael: Look, I'm sorry. Guess i was just too curious, but then again with all these contraptions and computers you have, why not?

He sat up and looked at Banpei.

Michael: So this is Banpei. Looks like an excellent machine, guess i was just an threat because my ID was not programmed.

Skuld: No, its a self-learning robot, its a long story but i originally designed it to be onee-sama's bodyguard and assistant, now it protects the house from intruders and helps out in tasks when needed.

Michael: I see...

Michael goes up to Banpei, which made Skuld gasp at first. Michael then takes Banpei's hand and give it a shake.

Michael:...Sorry about that, Banpei.

Banpei replies with a cheerful bleep and flash from his eyes. Michael smiles for a while as he thinks.

Michael (Thinks): Skuld is a clever yet slightly proud girl. From the looks of all the contraptions she could assemble anything that is needed for the group. Yet she wants to be like Belldandy, and that could be difficult if she doesn't accept the fact that she is not always correct. 

Michael then stands up and faces Skuld.

Michael: Come on, Skuld, breakfast will be ready soon.

Skuld: Just a sec, i need to rig Banpei up to guard the house.

Skuld picks up one of the computers and slowly walks out, with Banpei following her. Michael then left the room and headed to the lounge.

It's all Japanese to me.

It is now about 7.30AM and after the group have got cleaned, dressed and ready. They were down in the lounge waiting for breakfast. For breakfast, it was asagohan (morning rice) with miso soup on the side, cooked and prepared by Belldandy and Yuna.

The group has sat down in the same spaces as they did last night (Belldandy and Keiichi sitting on one end of the table, Yuna and Michael on another end, and Urd and Skuld on the opposite sides.). All of the group was wearing the same clothes as yesterday (with a slight ariation in Michael's clothes)

Belldandy, Urd, Skuld, Keiichi,Yuna & Michael:  Itadakimasu

And they began to eat, but a few seconds later, someone called from the front door.

Megumi (in Japanese): Kei-chan!

That nearly choked him, he forgot completely that Megumi usually comes round for breakfast. 

Belldandy: We have another guest!

Belldandy stood up and walked out to the front door. Keiichi also stood up and followed, he feared this is going to be a sticky problem to explain to Yuna and Michael. Michael, Yuna, Urd and Skuld overheard the three way conversation outside.

Keiichi (In Japanese): Megumi

Megumi (In Japanese): Ah, don't be so sad that i have come to see you again.

Keiichi (In Japanese): Its just you always come by here for Breakfast.

Megumi (In Japanese): Why not? Your girlfriend always cooks up the best food in Nekomi.

Belldandy (In Japanese): Well...

Megumi (In Japanese): So what's stopping me from coming in for breakfast?

Keiichi (In Japanese): The fact that we have two guests have breakfast.

Megumi (In Japanese): The more the merrier! 

Keiichi (In Japanese): Yes, but their not from Nekomi, let alone Japan.

Belldandy (In Japanese): I don't think they wouldn't mind having a extra guest at breakfast.

Keiichi (In Japanese): But, one of our guests doesn't speak Japanese.

Belldandy (In Japanese): But Yuna-sama would translate for Michael-san.

Keiichi (In Japanese): Yes but, it would be awkward for Michael

Megumi (In Japanese): Well, if there is going to be a problem today, i won't spoil it for Kei-chan.

Belldandy (In Japanese): If you mean having additional guests then it is no problem.

Megumi (In Japanese): Well... OK, i will come in.

Belldandy (In Japanese): That's great! I will go and introduce them to you.

Keiichi lets out a sigh as approaching from the front door was a young woman only 1 year younger than Keiichi. She had medium brown hair and brown eyes.  She wore a white t-shirt covered by a denim jacket and jeans and wore brown boots.

Belldandy appeared beside her as she introduced her to Michael and Yuna.

Belldandy: Michael-san, Yuna-sama; this is Megumi-san, Keiichi-san's sister.

Yuna stood up and gave her a bow.

Yuna (In Japanese):Nice to meet you, Megumi-san.

She smiled as she turned to Michael, already he was confused.

Michael (Thinks): What am i going to do? If i say anything,she won't understand! Come on, Michael. Think!

Megumi wondered what was taking him so long with greeting her. Finally Michael gave her a nod and tried to forget fact that there was a language barrier between them. She showed a confused look as she wondered what he was saying.

Michael: Erm... Konnichi, Megumi.

Yuna (In Japanese): Michael-san said hello, Megumi-san. Please forgive him, he doesn't know much Japanese.

Megumi (In Japanese): Oh umm... Konnichi, Michael.

Michael lets out a deep sigh as he thinks how difficult this is going to get. Belldandy goes to the kitchen to prepare Megumi's breakfast. Megumi sits down by the group and awaits her breakfast.

Megumi (In Japanese): So Kei-chan, how are you and Belldandy doing?

Keiichi (In Japanese): Is that why you wanted to come here again?

Megumi (In Japanese): Don't be silly, you know me too much!

Keiichi (In Japanese): Yes like coming round for breakfast nearly everyday.

Megumi (In Japanese): Yeah, but with Belldandy's cooking is excellent, who would want to turn it down?

Keiichi was quiet yet put on a friendly gesture, this was to let Yuna translate what they were saying (by whispering in Michael's ear). Belldandy then returns to the rest of the group holding Megumi's breakfast. She lays it down by Megumi and then returns to her position by the table.

The group then had their breakfast, however Megumi who usually wants to talk about Keiichi and Belldandy, was a silent as a mouse (Possibly due to the language barrier between Megumi and Michael). It was Yuna who finally broke the silence as she spoke to Megumi.

Yuna (In Japanese): Megumi-san, are you usually this quiet?

Megumi (In Japanese): No, i usually like to tease Keiichi, but how can i with Michael-san.

Yuna whispered what she said to Michael, his chopsticks fall from his hand in shock as he felt upset about what Megumi said about him. The rest of the group (Keiichi, Belldandy, Urd and Skuld) looked at Michael as soon as they heard his chopsticks fall suddenly. He breathed a deep sigh and lowered his head.

Michael: Maybe i am not needed here, i will go to my room.

Michael stood up and took his bowl and was about to put it in the kitchen. Belldandy looked sad as he was doing this, she read his emotions via her empathy and saw him feeling sad and alone.

Belldandy (In Japanese): I'm sorry, i will apologize to Michael-san.

She stands up and takes her breakfast to the kitchen. When she got to the kitchen (which was attached to the lounge with no real door separating either room) she saw Michael walking slowly to the sink and placing his bowl there. He turned to find Belldandy beside him, looking very sad.

Belldandy: Michael-san, can you come with me for a moment?

Michael: Well... OK.

Michael followed Belldandy outside the kitchen, leaving the rest of the group wondering what they are doing.

Outside, Michael and Belldandy was in the grounds away from the rest of the group.

Michael: I'm sorry, Belldandy. Without any real knowledge about the Japanese language...

Belldandy: No, it is my fault that you can't speak to Megumi properly. I should have known it.

Michael: Don't blame it on yourself Belldandy, I just don't understand it, that's all.

Belldandy: But, if you still unable to understand the language, it will cause problems with   your holiday.

Michael: It's nothing, i will get by.

Belldandy: Michael-san, i don't want you to be sad, just like Yuna-sama doesn't want you to be sad either. Let me help you with your problems.

Michael: Well, if you have any ideas, other than whispering English in my ear.

He lets out a playful chuckle as he felt warm and happy with Belldandy's selfless care of him and Yuna. Belldandy sweetly smiles for a bit and them closes her eyes and holds her hands close to her, as if she is praying. A warm green glow starts to come from Belldandy as she starts to cast a spell.

Belldandy: A visitor who is unable to see the bridge beyond his people and their people, give him the sight to see that bridge. Until the end of his holiday, give him the ability to speak to their people.

Michael feels a strange warm force in his head, he felt slightly dizzy for a second but then felt normal.

Belldandy: Well, we should head back inside.

And so the two return back inside and to the lounge.

Michael: Sorry about that. Guess i was spaced out for a second.

The strange thing was, as Michael was saying it in English, Megumi was hearing it in Japanese.

Megumi: That's OK.

And the same thing happened the other way round, with Megumi's Japanese being heard in English when it reached Michael.

Belldandy: Would you like some more breakfast, Michael-san?

Michael: No thank you, Belldandy.

He smiles in way that he was silently thanking her for helping him overcome his language problem. Yuna, who read his thoughts about it also smiled towards Belldandy as a sign of thank you (so not to make Megumi none the wiser about Belldandy's or Yuna's true purposes). Of course Megumi had to fall upon her playful ways, so she said to Keiichi.

Megumi: Hey Kei-chan, i think you have some competition.

Keiichi: What you mean?

Megumi: If you are not serious about Belldandy, Michael could take her from you.

Belldandy: What do you mean by Keiichi-san not taking me seriously?

Yuna: She is just playing with you, Belldandy-sama.  Michael was happy that you helped him when he was sad this morning.

Belldandy: Oh.

Urd: True, but maybe there is competition between them.

Belldandy: Nee-san! I would never compete against Yuna-sama for Keiichi-san's heart.

Michael: Yes, that would be embarrassing!

Urd (Playful): Oh come on! Is there any jealousy between you!

They all laughed as a result of this, Megumi told a little bit about herself to Michael and Yuna before she left. As she was about to leave...

Megumi: Well, means that you have guests for this week i will stay at home for breakfast for now.

Belldandy: Would you be OK?

Megumi: Of course i would, just that i don't want to interfere with Michael and Yuna's holiday. There will be other times where i can come, OK?

Belldandy: OK, see you Megumi-san.

And so she left the group.

Just like every holiday...

Nekomi, Tokyo, Japan
Sunday 1PM

6 and half hours later, and the group (Michael, Yuna, Keiichi, Belldandy, Urd and Skuld) went out for shopping, which Keiichi bluntly said to the group “so much for a rest day”, he didn't mind though, as their guests seemed slightly anxious in finding out about Japanese shopping.

It was an weekly food shopping for the group, which would normally done on Saturdays rather than Sundays, but due to yesterday's sponsorship run and unexpected events, it was delayed. Fortunately some of the food stores were open on a Sunday, so at least there will be enough for the week.

To make it faster, the group decided to split up into two, Michael and Keiichi took care of one half of the food shopping and Yuna, Belldandy, Urd and Skuld took care of the other half. Ironically, because some of the stuff needed was at a different food store, they were in different stores. Michael and Keiichi's list included washing powder and toiletries. Whilst the rest had to get a variety of fruit and veg, soup, rice,tea, and bottles of lemonade.

During this both groups had a bit of time to themselves. In one store, Michael and Keiichi was discussing about shopping...

Michael: How much more shopping do we have to do?

Keiichi: Not much, just some washing power and a few clothes pegs and we will be OK for the week.

Michael: Fine.

Keiichi: Hey, you didn't have to come shopping if you didn't want to...

Michael: Nah, its OK, I'm just curious about how Japanese people shop. To be honest, i never really did much shopping back home. I usually looked around the shops if i had the time during collage breaks but unless i had the money on me, it wasn't really fun, just the same old routine.

Keiichi: Was there any clubs you could have gone too in your free time.

Michael: There was, but i didn't feel like it and it was rather disorganized. I don't know why but the principal at my collage seemed to start restricting areas to lecturers. Certain toilets, rights of passage, even leisure and spiritual areas were restricted. It all seemed to add up to problems outside of collage which made things boring and sometimes uncomfortable.

Keiichi: If you want to, i could show you around my collage tomorrow.

Michael: OK then.

And in another store, Yuna ,Belldandy, Urd and Skuld were discussing about... well it was going to be a discussion on Michael and Yuna's relationship...

Yuna:... Michael-san was very shy about doing tasks outside home, other than going to collage. So i encouraged him to do shopping with me for the family.

Skuld: But, you said Michael's family didn't care about him.

Yuna: In some cases, it looked like they did care about him but if that was the case, why wasn't he cared for when he was school.

Urd: Maybe because they needed Michael to be tough.

Yuna: Tough!

Yuna looked at Urd with a slightly furious look.

Yuna: If they wanted him to be tough, they would have asked him to defend himself against bullies, which he did by fighting them. That put him on the verge of exclusion and even suicide! So he ignored and reported them, and although that helped him stay in school, he was still in pain. They hurt him so much, the measures to give the schools full rights to exclude students without the need to fund their transfer to another school came too late for him, for they were all going to leave school for collage and they made up as a result. Add this to 5 years of primary school bullying, and he was bulled for 10 years with his family doing nothing to help him, not even comfort him. He was invisibly left to fend for himself.

Urd: But was he happy during school?

Yuna: Some of the time... but consider this, for every moment he was happy...he was afraid...afraid that the bullies will hurt him again. For every moment he was afraid... he was unable to focus on what he wanted to do...because of the bullies.  For every moment he was unable to focus... he was sad...because he couldn't do what he wanted to achieve. And for ever moment he was sad... he wanted to disappear...because he felt he was inferior. This is why...

Yuna was starting to cry as she was about to finish...

Yuna (Crying): ...he is still in pain!

...And she broke down,  with Skuld becoming furious as a result.

Skuld: Urd! Look what you have done! We told you to look after our guests and...

Before Skuld could finish, Urd goes over to Yuna, she looks at her, still upset.

Urd: I've been there Yuna, I know.

Yuna was puzzled. Urd repeats it in more detail

Urd: I've been there Yuna. I know exactly how he feels. I been brought up, although with a family i can believe and count on, to be inferior no matter what happens. But i learnt from a friend; a friend i call a sister one thing... to believe in yourself.

Yuna: But, Michael-san has tried to believe in himself but...

Belldandy: His heart is damaged because of what happened to him, but he believed that there is someone who can save him. 

Yuna: Me, i can save him.

Belldandy: Because of you now being beside him, his heart is healing. He is no longer isolated nor lost because you are there to protect him from harm.

Yuna: Yes, i can save him, he needed me and i am willing to do anything to protect him from harm, anything.

She stopped crying and looked up at the rest of the group with a sweet smile. Yuna's face looked like a masterpiece, her dried tears visible on her haunting pretty face.

Belldandy: There, you feel better now, Yuna-sama?

Yuna: Yes, thank you, my friends.

Urd: OK, now with that out of the way, lets finish this shopping.

Meanwhile... Michael and Keiichi has collected their half and the shopping and were on their way to meet the others when they suddenly heard an explosion.

Michael: What the...

An advertising board suddenly crashed behind them, landing in between two of the shops and blocking them off and any escape as a manic laugh is heard all around them.

...You always seem to get into trouble.

Michael: I know it has been used before, but i got a bad feeling about this!

As if on cue a supposedly cross dressed woman floats into their view. She has long blond hair and red eyes. There were red markings on her forehead and by her eyes, just like Belldandy. She wears a black leather suit that makes her look like a vampire and appeared to be very menacing.

Keiichi gasped, aware of who she is.

Marrler: Well well well, look what we have here. A two for one offer on pest removal!

Michael: Who are you?

Marrler: I would have thought that by flying above you that you would have know who i am. I'm Marrler, Demon First Class, Unlimited!

Michael (Sarcastically): Oh, great!

Marrler: And i am also your executioner!

Keiichi: Wait a minute, i thought you were trying to break me and Belldandy up! So leave him out of this.

Marrler: Hmph, for a second i thought you wanted to know how i survived after being double crossed by the Lord of Terror.

Keiichi: No need, you always seem to come back.

Marrler: Yes, and i always seem to be defeated by your goddess friends. So i thought, if i can't take the cream of the crop, i will just do some side tasks just to keep my job in order. That way i will always be there to make sure Belldandy is unhappy. 

Keiichi: But...

Marrler: ...what does that have to do with Michael Morpan over there, you may say? Simple, his dreamer friend, Yuna. You see, i disguised myself as a market dealer in the UK and ran a tombola for all kinds of seemly special prizes. My “star” prize would be a trip to Japan for two, all i have to do is rig up a holiday ticket and then cause an “accident” in Japan on the winners. It would have been perfect, i would have murdered someone causing the other to go depressed, no one will have know it was me and i get a career boost for such a dark plan!

Michael: And so you locked me in a taxi and was about to catapult me off a cliff.

Marrler: And if you would have been killed, Michael Morpan.  Yuna would be so unhappy, she would leave Earth. It would have been perfect, until Keiichi and Belldandy found themselves in the middle of my plans, Now i am mad!

Michael: You know, there are other jobs, like shelf stacking!

Marrler: Silence! It just so happens that both of you are in the same place. I can take you both out and put an end to my sworn enemies once and for all.

Michael immediately take a stance.

Michael: I won't go down without a fight, give yourself up.

Marrler: Hmph, a measly mortal is no match for me.

Suddenly, Belldandy, Urd, Skuld and Yuna run up to the upcoming battle after they Belldandy and Yuna sensed Marrler's presence.

Belldandy: Marrler!

Marrler turns to face Belldandy, Yuna, Urd and Skuld.

Marrler: Hmph, once again you turn up! But this time you are too late to do anything!

As she was saying this, Michael and Keiichi was trying to escape from their trapped confronted Marrler suddenly turned back to them and cast a dark ball of energy just by their feet, sending them tumbling to the floor.

Marrler: But look on the bright side, Belldandy and Yuna, your just about to see your loves be erased from earth.

Belldandy: Marrler, i won't let you go any further.

Marrler: So you want to fight me then...

Yuna: No, i will.

Yuna stands in front of Belldandy,her face showing sheer determination.

Belldandy: Yuna-sama?

Yuna: I won't let you kill Michael-san, Keiichi-san or anyone else, nor will i let your darkness spread. By order of the spirit world, surrender now.

Marrler: Pah!, idle threats from someone who isn't a goddess. Lets see if the pain of your bond works in reverse!

And with that she fires another dark bolt of energy, this time at Yuna.

Belldandy: Yuna-sama!

Yuna , seeing the bolt hurdling down at her...

Yuna: So be it.

Yuna closes her eyes and raises her hands, a strange blue wall starts to form from Yuna's hands. The energy bolt rebounds off the wall and into the sky. Yuna opens her eyes and the shield drops.

Marrler: OK, you have some skill.

Yuna: One last time, i command you to surrender.

Marrler: No one can make me surrender.

Yuna: You leave me no choice.

Yuna holds out her hands and closes her eyes. A blue glow forms around her as a blue beam forms by her hands, it turns into her summoner rod which she grabs hold of upon forming. The rod had a small bell tied on to the bottom, a long blue part which goes up to the top and a gold symbol tied to a silver joint to the circle.

Yuna holds her rod in a diagonal, defensive stance.

Yuna: Stand back.

Belldandy, Urd and Skuld step aside from the battle as Yuna begins to twirl herself around, if you could,  you could also hear her chanting some ancient Japanese words as small blue spheres start to form from her and go by her rod. Then she slings her spheres towards Marrler with her rod. The blue spears were thrown towards Marrler and hits her, damaging her with water magic.

Marrler responds by unleashing another dark energy bolt on Yuna, however Yuna deflects this by rebounding it with her rod. Yuna then unleashes another set of water spheres of water bolts at Marrler, but this time Marrler shields herself and absorbs it.

Marrler: You can't stop me with the same attack.

Yuna: No, but you can't rely on staying in the air if it suddenly changes.

Yuna raises her rod.

Yuna: Spirits of the wind, come forth!

A white mist starts to come from Yuna's rod and into the sky, soon after there is a rumble in the sky and out of the clouds a eagle like creature of white light descends from the clouds and starts to fly around Marrler at near supersonic speed. Soon a hurricane forms around Marrler and starts to swallow her up. The hurricane's spun her around at the same supersonic speed causing her to lose flight and fall right down onto the ground. The spirt returns to the clouds.

Marrler tries to get up as Yuna, Belldandy, Urd and Skuld goes up to her. She looks up at them in sheer anger.

Marrler: You may have won, but you have made an enemy with the wrong demon!

And with that, she teleports and escapes.

Yuna and Belldandy go up to Michael and Keiichi in delight, with Belldandy leaping into Keiichi's arms in sheer joy.

Belldandy: Keiichi-san!

Keiichi blushes as she leaps into his arms. Yuna offers her hand to Michael and picks Michael up gently and with grace.

Yuna: Michael-san, are you OK?

He nods and smiles to her, looking at her with sheer happiness and amazement.

Skuld goes up to Keiichi and Belldandy and tries to get Keiichi off Belldandy, for obvious reasons.

Skuld: OK, break it up Keiichi!

In response,Urd goes up to Skuld and tries to pull her away.

Urd: Skuld! Don't try to ruin this perfect moment!

Michael and Yuna watched as the little family moment continues.

Michael: Urd and Skuld sure are opposite to each other.

Yuna: One wants their relationship to be in full bloom yet is rushing nature, the other doesn't know the different kinds of love and is afraid to lose her sister to the only kind of love she knows. But despite their differences, they care for each other regardless of how they show it.

Michael: Is that why your not interning?

Yuna: Yes, Michael-san.

And so they continued watching the little moment until they were ready to return to the temple.

Nekomi, South east Tokyo, Japan.
Sunday 7PM

After a extraordinary and exhausting day shopping, time slipped by for the group till it came to dinner. For dinner, it was Gyudon (meat ball (it is rice with stewed beef on top, served like soup), cooked by Belldandy and Yuna. The six have sat down in their places as before and begun to eat their food, this time Michael needed no aid in eating his food as he mastered eating with chopsticks, much to the groups delight especially Yuna's.

In fact, with Michael knowing how to eat with chopsticks, he was eating though his food rather quickly, causing the rest of the group to look at him either confused or oddly.

Michael: Sorry, i just can't help myself!

Belldandy: You like it?

Michael: Its delicious!

Yuna: I'm so glad.

He turns to Yuna, who was looking at him. She smiles sweetly, causing him to blush. It was made more apparent by Urd's mischievous and bubbly giggle and then...

Urd:  They say the best way to reach a man's heart is through his stomach.

This caused Michael to blush more, either due to Yuna's warmth or Urd's flirting. Regardless he returned to his food, but not before looking at Urd, who was suggestively smiling at him, preventing him from not blushing. He resumed eating his food, though he eat slower so not to arouse the same problem as before.
Time passed on as the group ate, though there was something pondering Michael over the events yesterday as well as today.

Michael (Thinks): A demon, she was planning to kill me to hurt Yuna. A part of me wants to say “I must defeat this demon”, knowing that by doing this i can strike our first blow against the darkness. Yet another part of me wants to say, “Your holiday will endanger your new friends, they are the real target, you must leave to protect Yuna from harm”. But...

He looks at Yuna.

Michael (Thinks): ...she said she didn't want the forces of darkness to break us. She wants me to be happy, to make my dreams come true. But, am i getting over my head in this? I want to have a holiday, not be in fear.

Yuna looks at him, her face showing concern.

Yuna: What's wrong, Michael-san?

Michael: Nothing... just...

Yuna: Your having second thoughts about our holiday.

Michael: Yeah.

Yuna: She won't win, Michael-san. I want you to be happy and i will make sure no one prevents that.

Keiichi: Who are you talking about?

Yuna looks back to the group.

Yuna: The demon that attacked us yesterday and today, Marrler.

Urd: She's nothing, just an annoyance. Don't get yourself wound up over it.

Michael: But what if she does comes back and succeed in bringing sadness to me, Yuna or even you four.

Keiichi: True, she does attempt to bring sadness to me and Belldandy but each attempt has made us stronger for the next. You have had times where it looked bleak in your or Yuna's eyes right.

Michael: Now that mention it... yes, i have had those times.

Keiichi: Then you nothing to worry about... because you care for each other...

And as if in tandem...

Yuna:...No matter who tries to separate you ...you are strong, because you believe.

Michael: Thanks Yuna, and you too Keiichi.

They smiled to him in their own special way. Michael smiled back, happy that everything will be all right in the end because of his care for Yuna as well as the rest of the group.

That night, Michael and Yuna was about to go to bed. They have already got changed into there bedtime clothes and have slipped into their futons, Michael however wanted to ask a few questions to Yuna. They were looking at the ceiling as they were talking.

Michael: Yuna?

Yuna: Yes, Michael-san?

Michael: I was wondering, who is Marrler anyway? She says she is a demon.

Yuna: Indeed, she is a demon. One of the best as well.

Michael: What do you mean?

Yuna: For every positive, there is a negative. For every plus, there is a minus. For every for, there is a against. For every yang, there is a yin.

Michael: There needs to be balance, but why does darkness have to be part of the balance.

Yuna: Darkness isn't part of the balance.

He looks at Yuna

Michael: Why?

Yuna: We try to ensure there is a balance between many things. People and company, higher and lower class, normal and special, even human and astral. The darkness tries to destroy that balance, promising power and wealth but actually controlling their lives and destroy them from the inside. They exploit via the darkness of humans. 

Michael: So Marrler aims to destroy me and Keiichi because of our relationship to you and Belldandy?

Yuna: Not just us, but every astral force. Goddesses, Dreamers, Valkyries, even the spirits based on earth, they are all targets. But there is one special advantage we have.

Michael: What's that?

Yuna: Everyone who fights for the light, the true light, the need to protect freedom and liberty, stands united no matter what. The darkness always fights itself, distracting itself from attacking us, making them weaker than they would normally be.

Michael: Though they are still a threat?

Yuna: Yes.

Michael: Well...

He puts his hand on Yuna as he continues to look at her.

Michael: I would be honoured to protect the spirit world from darkness, because i care about you, and my friends. And i know that these friends would truly make me happy, as i will make them happy.

Yuna smiled sweetly as he finished, seeing how much he cares about her, just as she cares about him.

The fact that the temple is a traditional structure means that anything can go though its paper walls. So if people stopped and heard what was going on they would be able to hear it crystal clear. In this case, Belldandy heard it while she was playing with a puzzle. She responded to Michael's comment with a smile as she continued with the puzzle.

Getting all the attention, unintentionally!
Nekomi Institute of Technology
Nekomi, Tokyo, Japan
Monday 8AM

It is a normal morning for the students of the Nekomi Institute of Technology, until arriving at the entrance was a sight nearly every male student started to drool at. For arriving at the entrance was Yuna, accompanied by Michael and Megumi. The reason is that Keiichi and Belldandy had to take the motor club's three wheel vehicle in to the club's garage for maintenance, so Yuna (after knowing from Michael about the planned visit) decide to walk to NIT alongside Michael. They nearly got lost if it wasn't for Megumi running in to them. As she was going to NIT early for her own reasons, she decided to accompany them.

Now, the three were entering the campus and in a case of deja vu most of the male students were looking and sometimes drooling over Yuna in a similar way as they have done over Belldandy!

As they were walking to the reception so Michael and Yuna can sign in as guests for the week... 

Yuna: Many people are looking at me because at my beauty.

Megumi: That's because your a sight for sore eyes Yuna, they see you as one of the most beautiful girls on campus.

Michael: The usual “boys like beautiful women” thing then. That would make me one then!

Yuna laughed at Michael's blunt response.

Megumi: For the record, there are two other girls on the campus that guys try to go for and fail. Belldandy, and Mishima.

Michael: So for this week, there will be three girls for them to drool over, i don't know what to say.

Megumi: Well, i leave that up to you Michael, me, i got to go to Softball club.

Pointing to the building ahead of them.

Megumi: You can sign yourself in here, and then find Kei-chan at the motor club. It's just by the circuit field at the back on the side of the campus.

Michael: OK.

Yuna: Sayonara, Megumi-san.

And with that they part ways.

Meanwhile at the motor club...

Tamiya: What! You didn't hand out all of the flyers.

Keiichi: Senpai, i managed to hand out the same amount of flyers as last week.

Otaki: That's not enough. This is the last week before open day and if we want to attract new members we need a head start.

Tamiya: We need you to do better this week, Morisato! Or the Motor Club will suffer the most embarrassing year yet. Do you understand?

Keiichi got up to his feet like a soldier saluting.

Keiichi: Yes Senpai!

Tamiya: Now, if only we can get rid of the dent you did to the three wheeler, we might get a shot this week.

Otaki: Care to explain how this happened?

Keiichi: Well you see... we had an accident by Tokyo International and...

There was a knock on the door.

Tamiya: Get that will you Haswagra.

Haswagara: Yes.

Haswagara opened the door to find Yuna and Michael.

Yuna: Hello, we come on behalf of Belldandy and Keiichi as guests.

Tamiya: Guests? Morisato!

Keiichi: Well you see...

Belldandy: These two are on holiday from abroad, they were looking for a place to stay and we let them stay at our home.

Keiichi: I was wanting to show them our club because they were interested.

Tamiya: Hmm...

Tamiya was in deep thought, though really he was thinking about Yuna and how beautiful she was, little did he know that Yuna was reading his thoughts as well.

Yuna then used her mindlink.

Yuna (Mindlink): Be careful Michael-san, these two don't seem to think straight.

Michael (Mindlink): What do you mean?

Yuna (Mindlink): They don't understand women beyond beauty.

Michael (Mindlink): In other words, they are not clever.

Yuna (Mindlink): In a manner of speaking, yes. But they seem to know mechanical skills well, just expect the usual drooling student to surface, OK?

Michael (Mindlink): OK.

Tamiya looked back up to them.

Tamiya: Fine, you can come in.

Yuna gives a bow to him as she thanks him.

Yuna: Thank you!

Yuna and Michael enter the motor club building.

Tamiya: Back to more important matters, so far we have no one expressing any interest in the motor club. This gives us no head start in recruiting new members, and that means we could be be in trouble like last year! We can't afford to lose this club!

Keiichi: The only reason why we nearly lost the club because Aoshima betted his club against ours. There should be no problems with any turnout so long as we take the necessary steps.

Tamiya: But they are not working! We need to take the next steps...hmm...

Michael: This is a motor vehicle club right, so you need to show what you can do. If it is repairs that you do, why don't you go and show off your repair skills. If it is racing, you need to show what events you participate in and even do some promotional races. Also, what are your ethnics, plans and criteria? Are you honest about what you do? And...

Tamiya immediately grabs hold of Michael

Tamiya: You have no right to start complaining what we do here, we can repair and upgrade any vehicle, we have participated in many events. We have the guts and funds to keep our club the best...

Tamiya drops Michael on to the floor. Yuna immediately goes to him and puts her arms around his head, showing how much she will protect him from harm, this made Michael happy and comforted yet didn't reveal this on the outside. Yuna looks at Tamiya with a determined expression.

Tamiya: So if you talk like you own the place, you will go out as quickly as you came in, tourist!

Yuna: If you start talking like a spoilt child, you will never have any respect or care.

Tamiya: I'm not a spoilt child, I'm just showing that i know what i am doing and that everyone should know their place.

Yuna: True, you may be the leader but even a leader needs help with their work. You show respect even though it is though stern words with your members, why not a guest? 

Tamiya: I got it! The perfect way to get your friend's respect is to see if he can beat umm...Morisato!

Keiichi: Senpai!

Tamiya: Name your motor based event and we will set it up.

Michael: Well... if you think it helps me show what i can do... i will challenge my friend Keiichi Morisato in a go-kart race.

Yuna: But you don't know how to race in a go kart.

Michael: I know, but i have played driving games so i pretty much know what i am doing. Besides, my last comment had nothing to back me up with, i need to make amends and though this i will earn the clubs respect.

Tamiya: Fair enough! We have two kart's that are ready, we will set up the event of the century this evening! Let go Dai-chan!

And with that Tamiya and Otaki left.

Friends to the end

As soon as Tamiya and Otaki left, Keiichi let out a sigh as he looked at Michael and Yuna.

Keiichi: Anything goes for them.

Haswagra: Are you sure you want to race umm...

Michael stands up with Yuna removing her arms off him and standing up.

Michael: Michael

Haswagra: Yes, Michael. Are you sure you want to race?

Michael: Well...

Keiichi: It's OK, he can race me if he wants.

Michael: Well I want to gain the respect of your club leaders after that argument. But maybe i should have kept my mouth shut.

Belldandy: No, you have a right to voice your opinion even if others don't agree.

Yuna: Though he was rash when he was replying to Michael-san's suggestions.

Keiichi: They usually act like that, though they do respect club members like me and Haswagra. So it's not all bad.

Haswagra: Well, with that settled, i will help out the senpais with the preparations.

Haswagra then leaves the four (Keiichi, Belldandy, Michael & Yuna). Belldandy looks at Michael, with Michael starting to slightly blush as he looks at her deep blue eyes.

Belldandy: It is great that you and Keiichi-san can compete fairly,but...

That knocked Michael back into reality as she continues.

Belldandy: But you don't have as much experience with go-kart's as Keiichi-san. I was wondering if it would be difficult for you to race.

Keiichi: No problem, i will give Michael a quick lesson before the race. OK?

Michael: OK.

Michael offers a handshake to Keiichi.

Michael: May the best man win.

Keiichi then sakes his hand.

Keiichi: Yeah

And so the friendship between the two was strengthened, much to Belldandy and Yuna's delight.

The Evening came and with it the race at the collage circuit... a large oval track with a chicane on one of its sides. A large crowd has turned up, with most of the spectators placing bets.

In the middle of the circuit was a large stand containing larger loudspeakers and a microphone. Tamiya went on to the stage and to the microphone to deliver the opening announcement.

Tamiya: Thank you all for coming, this is a proud day for NIT as we present to you this special race.

In the pits both Keiichi and Michael was getting suited up, Keiichi sported a red racing suit with “K1” inscribed in blue on the back of his suit, while Michael sported a blue suit with “Morpan” inscribed in red on the back of his suit.

Yuna and Belldandy was also in the pits, sporting a cream racing suit with “Bell” and “Yuna” inscribed in blue on the back of the suits.

Belldandy offered Keiichi his helmet as she speaks.

Belldandy: Do your best, Keiichi-san!

Keiichi: Thank you

Keiichi took his helmet from Belldandy and put its on.

Yuna offered Michael his helmet but before she gives him the helmet she gives Michael a small kiss on the forehead.

Yuna: Don't be afraid when you are out there, Michael-san. Just keep looking ahead and never doubt yourself, my tiger.

This caused Michael to blush before taking his helmet and putting it on. He looked at Yuna and replied.

Michael: Thank you, my angel.

He looks at Keiichi.

Michael: Lets do it.

Keiichi gives a nod, then they both get in to their go kart's (both red and blue respectively), started the engines and went off on their formation lap.

They arrive at the starting line and await the announcement.

Tamiya: So without futher ado, lets begin the 3 lap race between NIT Motor Club's infamous driver Keiichi Morisato and WALCAT's Michael Morpan.

In the pits...

Belldandy: WALCAT?

Yuna: It is the name of Michael's collage. Its full name is Walsall collage of arts and technology. Haswagara-san asked Michael for it as he is a collage student as well.

Belldandy: Oh.

On the track... Tamiya holds a green flag and prepares to wave it.
Tamiya: Ready...

He waves the green flag...

Tamiya: Go!

...And Michael and Keiichi speeded of the start line

And their off!
Michael and Keiichi speed off the start line and enter the first turn with ease. Upon exiting the turn they were both neck and neck.  Next came the chicane, Michael slowed down to a crawl upon entering but began slowing down too early, allow Keiichi to overtake him.

Michael :Damn!

As soon as Michael left the chicane he pushed the accelerator hard and drove right up to the back of Keiichi's cart. From there he tailed him as they turned though the second corner. Upon leaving the corner Michael immediately started to overtake Keiichi. Keiichi speeded up and blocked him in his path forcing Michael to lay off as they entered the corner.

By the time they were at the start line Keiichi had a near comfortable lead over Michael as they start the second lap.

Tamiya: Morisato is leading at the first lap, practially leaving Morpan behind after a series of impressive moves.

Michael (thinks): Keiichi is good but what if i can force a deadlock when we reach the chicane.

Michael speeded up towards Keiichi and manges to put themselves neck and neck as they enter the corner, they both slowed down as they went though the corner slamming hard just upon exit.

They are both now neck and neck as they entered the chicane.

Michael (thinks): That worked, now lets try this!

Michael pushes the accelerator hard as he attempts to overtakes Keiichi yet having to brake just upon entry to the chicane. The result is that Michael nudges himself slightly ahead as they navigate though the chicane so that upon leaving the chicane Michael accelerated quickly, fully overtaking Keiichi in the progress.

Michael (thinks): Perfect!

Keiichi speeds up just to try and tailgate Michael. He succeeds in driving behind Michael causing Michael to become nervous as they enter the corner causing him to over steer and spin out on the track.

Michael (thinks): Blast it! With no offence Keiichi but i can't let you win that easy!

With that Michael hits the accelerator and dashes back on to the track with a large gap between Michael and Keiichi as the entered the final lap. Michael had to pull out all the stops to overtake his new friend. This meant speeding though the corners and the chicane (which due to the fact he was driving so rashly he almost spun out on the corners and nearly overshot the chicane).

Tamiya: Morpan is getting more and more aggressive, the gap is closing between him and Morisato as he hastily turns though every corner. Its is a wonder why he hasn't crashed it.

It felt like commentator syndrome once he said that for as soon as Michael and Keiichi entered the last corner Michael overshot it,causing his kart to spin off the track and crashed into the tyre wall.

In the pits, Belldandy and Yuna watch the ordeal take place.

Yuna: Michael-san!

They immediately rushed out and ran towards Michael's destroyed kart. Meanwhile, Keiichi saw what happened to Michael and as soon as he finished the race, got out of his kart and ran to Michael's damaged kart.

Michael tried to pull himself out of his kart,he was injured but able to move. He limped away from the kart but tripped himself up (due to the fact the impact of the crash made him dizzy) and started to fall. He heard a melodious voice coming towards him...

Belldandy: Michael-san!

...and fell into Belldandy's arms, who was preventing him from falling on to grass, she sat him down on the grass and took off his helmet. Yuna and Keiichi rushed over to him as he opened his eyes again, his face brushed in many places.

Michael: Ow...

He tried to put his hand on where the pain was but it was eased down by Belldandy's soft hands.

Belldandy: Don't move Michael-san.

Keiichi: How are you feeling?

Michael: Like i been fired into a wall or something.

Yuna: At least your safe, Michael-san.

Belldandy: Me too.

Yuna gives him a kiss on the cheek, causing him to blush. Belldandy also gave him another kiss on the cheek causing him to blush bright red!

Yuna: Aww... your blushing again!

A small giggle comes from Yuna, happy that Michael although hurt is still happy.

Keiichi: Let's get him back into the pits.

Belldandy: Yes.

And so they pick him up and aided him in walking back to the pits.
More than enough
It was half an hour after the race. Michael was in the pit area, being tending to his wounds by Yuna and Belldandy. Keiichi was watching over them, happy that he is safe but worried that he won't get his senpai's respect. Due to others being around the pits, the treatment had to be done the normal way (i.e. no magic). 

Luckily, Michael only had bruises to show for his injures. The bruises on his hands were tended to before plasters were put on the hands.

Yuna: There, do you feel better?

Michael: Better

Yuna: That's good.

Keiichi comes up to them.

Keiichi: You did well today , Michael.

Michael: If only i had finished...

Keiichi: Don't blame yourself , you were just new to this.

Belldandy: Keiichi-san's right, you wanted to race even though you would be at a disadvantage. You didn't want to let you or him down.

Michael: True, but what about Tamiya?

As if on cue Tamiya and Otaki entered the pits and approached the four.

Tamiya: You did well today Morisato,  this will certainly boost recruitment for the club. And as for you Michael...
Michael's head was slightly down as he was about to speak.

Michael: I guess i have let you down.

Tamiya:... true, you have not beaten Morisato. But you managed to keep Morisato from winning up to last turn with some excellent tactics. I wouldn't suspect a newcomer to do such a thing.

Otaki: You have surprised us Michael. For that you have our respect.

Michael looked up, surprised

Michael: Really?

Tamiya: Perhaps i was harsh on you, because of you being a newbie tourist. But, you have shown potential, not to mention guts. 

Michael: Thank you very much Tamiya.

He knew Tamiya and Otaki's names pre-race

Tamiya: This still doesn't mean we won't stop promoting the club. Flyer handouts around the campus are going to be the order of the week.

Yuna: We will help out too if you want.

Tamiya: Hmm... i wouldn't mind extra girl... i mean support. Come on, back to the clubhouse, lets talk tactics!

And so the six left the pits to discuss promoting the club.

Today, the Motor Club put into motion a flyer handout drive to promote the club so when open day comes, they will have a bigger chance in gaining new members. Of course Keiichi and the rest of the Motor club has to go to lectures, so to back them up in their absence, Michael and Yuna decided they will hand some of the flyers out while exploring the campus. They both wore their casual clothes (Michael wore a grey fleece, blue T-shirt and black trousers; while Yuna wore her pusedo-kimono)

Now, Michael and Yuna have left the motor club, flyers in hand. Discussing what to do in handing out.

Michael: So all we got to do is stand on opposite end of the campus, walk to the other end, pausing to offer the flyers out.

Yuna: Correct, and if we run out we will head to the motor club and pick up some more, assuming that someone will be there.

Michael: What if we get caught?, this isn't a thing visitors would do exactly.

Yuna: What do you mean?

Michael: I mean, helping a student group with their promotional drive.

Yuna: Hmm, if its anything to sooth that problem away, Belldandy said that she will notify the principal about this, especially after the event yesterday.

Michael: Don't remind me.

They stopped at the centre of the campus.

Yuna: I will start at the east of the campus, OK?

Michael: OK.

Yuna: See you soon

And with that they parted ways with their flyers, going to their starting points. As Michael was on his way to his starting point, he recalled a bit of yesterday's events. 

Michael (thinks): Despite what happened, i feel that i have done at least something special. I wanted to show what i can do, and when i couldn't at least someone was there for me. Tamiya is pretty OK i guess, i mean, he isn't brain of Japan or anything, but he...

Suddenly his daydreaming ended abruptly as he bumps into an elegant and beautiful woman in her mid-20s, she had long brown elegant hair and deep brown eyes. She wore a beige jacket over a chic white top and a beige skirt. She wore black court shoes.

Michael dropped the flyers that didn't leave his hand (as some of the flyers flew off from where they were) and went down to offer his hand to her. The woman though seems to have known who he is.

Michael: Sorry

She takes his hand and picks her up. She stands and fixes her brown hair, ensuring that when she does she tosses a bit from her eyes to make it feel inviting to him.

Mishima: It's all right, i wasn't looking.

Michael: No i wasn't looking actually,sorry.

Mishima: I understand, your the racer who was competing against Morisato-kun, am i right?

Michael: Yes ,why?

Mishima: Let me introduce myself, I am Sakyo Mishima. Its nice to meet someone outside Nekomi once in a while.

She offers a handshake in which he accepts by shaking her hand. However at the same time he was slightly blushing.

Michael: Thanks, I'm Michael Morpan.

Mishima: As i was saying, you raced against Morisato-kun, right?

Michael: Yes but...

Mishima: Such a man who would compete against a well known racer and mechanic of the collage, that is really brave.

Michael: Well, i don't know if Keiichi is famous or not but...

Mishima: It is such a shame that you had to leave the race without even finishing. 

Michael: It couldn't be helped, i was reckless.

Mishima (flirting): Recklessness you may be, but you are handsome and brave regardless.

Michael started to blush further as Mishima mischievously smiles.

Mishima (thinks): He's blushing considerably, what a cute yet naďve Englishman. Now all i got to do is keep him occupied with me and then i can say that i dated him! Then my fame on this campus will supersede Belldandy's!

Michael: Well, maybe i am a bit reckless, but maybe its just what i am...

Michael picked up the flyers and was about to leave...

Michael: Well, I've got to go and handout these flyers and...

But Mishima put a hand on the flyers and gives a sweet smile.

Mishima: Can you come with me for a second?

Michael: Well...

He blushes as he was trying to answer her question.

Mishima: It will only take a few moments of your time.

Michael: You see...

Mishima then grabbed his hand and forcefully ran into the collage.

Michael: Hey, i didn't ask!

But Mishima wanted to get him on a “date” with her, one way or another. Even if it means forcing him to.

...can be a double edged sword

Mishima pulled Michael into the collage and into one of the dormant corridors. She lets go of Michael as she spoke.

Michael: What was that all about?

Mishima: Well, you see, if you said no to me, it would feel like i have been rejected.

Michael: But you didn't say you wanted a date?

Mishima: I know, but, I'm supposed to be the queen of the campus.

Michael: As in, “most popular girl” on campus.

Mishima: Yes, but, no one seems to want to be with me any more.

Michael: Why?

Mishima: Well you see, i am part of a wealthy family who specialise in business. I been asked to go on dates with many students here in collage and even before in high school. One time, Morisato-kun asked me out for a date at a museum, but i declined, saying it is for older people...

Meanwhile, Yuna was handing out flyers on her end when she noticed that she has not seen Michael pass by.

Yuna: Michael-san should have been here. 

As she continued walking to the opposite end of the campus, she noticed a stack of flyers on the floor. With most of the flyers on her end handed out she quickly went to the stack of flyers. She noticed it was hastily dropped.

Yuna (thinks): Why would Michael-san hastily drop his workload, unless he went into a temper, but i haven't seen anywhere where it would be troublesome for him.

She decided to use her mind link to find out where he is. Meanwhile...

Michael:...so that's why, but, why do you think Belldandy is getting in the way?
 
Mishima: It's simple, she takes my appreciation, my fans, and my chances of getting any boys. I am supposed to be queen of the campus, be showered with gifts, be asked for a date?

Michael: Maybe she isn't aiming to be “Queen of the campus”...

Mishima:What do you mean?

Michael: From what i have seen from her, she's sweet, kind,selfless, clever, talented and beautiful.

Mishima: Beautiful! I'm just as beautiful as her!

Michael: Well, you are beautiful, Mishima.

Mishima: Really?

Michael: Really.

Mishima (Thinks): He's fallen for me, now to ask him out.

Michael: Well, I've got to go.

Mishima: Just a second.

Michael: Yes?

Mishima: Do you want to go out with me tonight? I know a few places that might be worth your while.

Michael: Mishima, i would love to...

Already Mishima's eyes lit up, thinking her plan has come to fruition.

Michael: But you see, i already have a girlfriend.

Mishima was shocked.

Mishima: Huh!? You already have a girlfriend!

Michael: Didn't you know?

Mishima: No.

But in reality, she does know that he has a girlfriend, she's is just playing innocent with Michael so she could steal him away from her and reap all the “rewards” in the progress.

Michael: Well, i do have a girlfriend, though she doesn't mind me being with other girls from time to time because it is essentially my weakness.

Mishima: Well, would you mind having a date with me because of that?

Michael: Well...

Just then, Michael heard Yuna though his mindlink.

Yuna (Mindlink): Michael-san, why are you not outside?

Michael (Mindlink): A young woman bumped into me and pulled me away from my work. She is asking for a date and from the looks of things will not take no for answer, even if she knows about you.

Yuna (Mindlink): Where are you Michael?

Michael (Mindlink):  In one of the corridors in the campus. But i don't know where, she practically dragged me to where she wanted me to go.

Yuna (Mindlink): I fear she will do more that drag you around, she may use you, and you know you don't like to be used.

Michael (Mindlink): I know, my angel, i know. Can you find me before this gets out of hand?

Yuna (Mindlink): I will try to find you, just try to keep her there or find a way out.

As Yuna was searching for him, Michael tried to by time in order to stay in position. He resumes his conversation with Mishima

Michael:...It's just that she is overprotective, but with reason.

Mishima: I see, well, the thing is what if i don't see you again.

Michael: There will be plenty of other men you can date with.

Mishima (Flirty): But no one as cute as you!

With that she gives him a kiss on the cheek, causing him to blush. Michael felt enchanted by her, his eyes looked at Mishima's brown eyes.

Michael: Maybe i can make one arrangement but no more after that...

Mishima: What do you mean no more?

Michael: You know, no more attempting to try and ask me out. 

Mishima: Why? Do you hate me?

Michael: No of course not! Its just...

Yuna: You may steal a young man's heart and use him for personal gain.

Mishima and Michael turned to find Yuna at the entrance to the corridor. Michael gave a sigh of relief. Mishima misinterpreted this as a sign of conspiring and stood back.

Mishima: What the? You were plotting against me!

Michael: Calm down Mishima, i wasn't plotting anything.

Yuna: Michael-san's right, we weren't plotting against you. You on the other hand, maybe plotting against us.

Mishima: What do you mean?

Yuna: I have heard from a friend that you seek to be the most popular girl in school by any purpose. Stealing my boyfriend being one.

Mishima: So you must be Michael Morpan's girlfriend then.

Yuna: Indeed, my name is Yuna Braska.

She gave a bow to her.

Yuna: Now i ask that you leave Michael-san alone.

Mishima: I found him, so i will have him. You shouldn't have left your boyfriend alone.

Yuna: We were doing some work for the Motor club. 

Mishima: Hmph, i don't know why an elegant woman like you would do something for them.

Yuna: Well, i don't know why an elegant woman like you would end up playing with men's lives.

Mishima: Well, i off with Michael-san for a date. Take it or leave it.

Yuna: Well if you want him, you must challenge me.

Michael was surprised, he is going to be “won” over in a game.

Mishima: Fine, if its anything to get you off my back.

Yuna: Name your contest, if you win, you will be allowed to date with Michael-san. If not, you must never try to mess with his life again.

Mishima: Well i will chose...

As she was making her mind up...

Michael (Mindlink): Yuna, I'm not sure about this...

Yuna (Mindlink): Don't worry Michael-san, i know its sounds like your a prize, but i know that Mishima can't please anyone but herself. I'm just trying to ensure that Mishima leaves you alone without resorting to rash methods.

As soon as the mindlink was over, Mishima made up her mind.

Mishima:...A cooking contest.

Yuna smiles as she announced it

Yuna: Fair enough, they say the best way to reach a man's heart is though his stomach. Take us to a student kitchen and we will begin.

And so they left...

Your no prize, your the man i love

...Yuna, Mishima and Michael arrive in one of the student kitchens. With no one else around, they all sat by different tables. Mishima pulled out of one of the cupboards some cooking ingredients and laid them all out on one table.

Mishima: You can use any of the ingredients on this table, i will cover the expenses for them.

Michael: Your sure about this.

Mishima: Just as sure as you coming on a date with me.

Yuna: All right, we will each cook a small snack for Michael-san. He will test both of them and choose who wins. Remember, if you lose, you must apologize to Michael-san and not attempt to mess his life up again.

Mishima: Agreed. And if i win, i will take him out tonight.

Yuna: Lets begin. We pick some ingredients here, one at a time. 

They each took turns to pick their ingredients. Mishima thought, with Michael being English that a British meal would please him. So she first picked some eggs. Yuna picked some raw meat. Mishima then picked up some bread. Yuna followed with some rice. Mishima picked up some vegetables and as there were two sets of vegetables Yuna picked up the same.

They both immediately went to different tables and began to cook.

Michael: So i don't distract either of you, i will just wait outside.

Yuna: OK.

So Michael went outside and waited outside, completely unaware that Urd was also there. She was holding something behind her back.

Urd: Hi Michael

Michael: Urd! Why are you here?

Urd: Someone told me that you have got some rivalry

Michael: What do you mean?

Urd: Two words, Sayko Mishima.

Michael: Yes, so...

Urd: If you really love Yuna, you will have to show it with more than sight.

Michael: Meaning?

Urd: When it comes to testing the food, you will wear this...

Urd mischievously smiles as she pulls out a blindfold from behind her back.

Michael: A blindfold.

Urd: Yes, you will wear this so you won't know who is giving the food. That way the only  way that will choose your love will be who cooks the best.

Michael: I thought you are not supposed to meddle with my relationship.

Urd: Who's saying that i am? It is for your benefit.

Michael: What if i refuse?

She points at Michael, with a small spark of electricity coming out.

Urd: Then i will punish you.

Michael sighs as he takes the blindfold.

Michael: Fine, i will do it.

Urd: Good for you, well i will see you soon.

And with that she leaves. Michael then looks at the blindfold and thinks to himself.

Michael (Thinks): I have got to see my love in more than sight, what does she mean? I know she said that the best way to reach a man's heart is though the stomach but...

Looking at the home economics room where he saw Yuna using the stove. She was quietly and sweetly humming to herself.

Michael (Thinks): Was she just playing with me, or did she really mean it?

He pondered about it for a while.

Yuna: Michael-san, we are done!

Michael: OK.

And so he went in, washed his hands and sat down.

Michael: Just to make it more interesting, i will use this (Showing his blindfold) so i won't know who its from.

Yuna: OK.

Mishima: Who goes first?

Michael puts on his blindfold.

Michael: Whoever wants to try to win my heart though my stomach.

Mishima smirks at Yuna as she takes her plate and puts on Michael's table, she then placed a knife and fork in Michael's hand.

Mishima: Eat up.

And so Michael began to eat whatever was on his plate, blindfolded!
Mishima thought that, with Michael being English that an English meal would be appropriate to win him over. So she cooked scrambled eggs on toast. Michael ate most of the food up and found no unique taste in them, yet was happy it wasn't bitter.

Michael: Hmm, tastes OK. Next!

Mishima removed the plate and cutlery from him and put them to the side. Yuna then took her meal and put it on Michael's table.
Yuna thought a more exotic and original meal would delight Michael, so she made a Bento (Boxed lunch) containing some meat,rice and vegetables. Knowing full well she would be at a disadvantage, she compensate the lack of ingredients by ensuring that all the ingredients were cooked to perfection and laid out correctly. The meat was also mixed with the rice, creating a makeshift Gyuudon (Which would originally be bowl meal of rice with a slice of meat on top).

Yuna: Here you go, Michael-san.

Michael eat his second meal and it tasted delicious, just like the first meal they had together. Which although was just as basic as the meal he is eating now, felt pleasant and tasty.

Michael (Thinks): This tastes just like the first time i had a meal with her, and even that was a basic meal. Maybe Urd is right, i need to see my love with more than sight. Yuna is a great cook, making each meal as special as the last one, and that is one of the many reasons why i love her.

He finished eating his meal.

Michael: OK, i have decided. The first meal was alright but had no distinguishing qualities. The second meal though, tasted delicious, so the winner is the second meal.

Yuna was delighted, she had won the challenge. She goes up to Michael and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Causing Michael to blush as he takes off his blindfold. They both looked at each other in their dreamy state.

Yuna: Michael-san, i was the one who cooked the second meal for you. Thank you.

She gave a bow to him to complete the compliment. They then both turned to Mishima, who was looking down on the floor.

Michael: Mishima, you understand what this means.

Mishima:Yeah, i can't mess around with you.

Michael:All this week until we leave Japan must you not try to take me away from the woman i love.

Yuna: Even though he felt like a prize in this contest, he is the man i love. But...

Mishima looked at Yuna

Yuna: Maybe the reason why you lost was because you weren't focused on what really mattered.

Mishima: What do you mean?

Yuna: When i cooked,  i put all my heart and feeling into making sure it smelt and tasted delicious, not for me but for my friends. You are a refined and beautiful woman, and i respect you because of it. But if you continue to close your heart, you wont have anyone to pick you up if you fall.

Mishima: Maybe i was wrong about you, you seem to understand people well.

Mishima then walked up to Michael.

Mishima:  Although i may not change, you have a strong friendship, don't let it go. As for me...

She gives Michael a kiss on the cheek, which was completely unexpected.

Mishima: I won't bother you any more, so this is goodbye, Morpan-kun.

She leaves but not before giving a bow to Yuna. After she left...

Michael: That was unusual...

Yuna: Yes, i thought she would not leave you.

Michael: Maybe you earned her respect.

Yuna: Maybe. Still, she hasn't cleaned up the kitchen.

Michael: Lets do it for her, otherwise we could get into trouble.

Yuna: OK

So they cleaned up the kitchen so it looked like nothing happened and then left.

It was another day of Michael and Yuna's holiday, let alone another day of voluntary work for them. But they didn't mind, more like they enjoyed having a look around at the campus as well as helping out others.

Last night was a rather normal night for them, apart from the fact that Urd's was delighted that the two are together after the contest. Right now, the two have grabbed their new batches of flyers (including the ones they dropped last time!) and set off on their promo runs.

Yuna was on her way to the starting point of her shift, handing out flyers to anyone who was approaching her. By the time she went to her starting point, she already handed out half of her flyers.

Yuna (Thinks): This is a good start, half of the flyers are already handed out. Maybe there would not be a need to do any more handouts after today. I wonder how Michael-san is doing...

She said to herself

Yuna: Do not worry, Mishima was very sincere about leaving him alone after the contest. Though i wonder if she had learnt anything from yesterday...

Suddenly she sensed something was thrown towards her, she dropped her flyers and quickly turned, grabbing hold of whatever was being thrown at her. She noticed it was a bouquet of hibiscus flowers.

Aoshima: Good catch.

She looked ahead to find a handsome man smiling at her. He has short brown hair and dark brown eyes, complemented by silver glasses. He wore a a green business suit, with a red tie and black shirt neatly shown underneath.

Aoshima: I hope you like them, Yuna-sama.

Yuna: How do you know my name?

Aoshima: I was at the special race with my cousin. You know, the race between Morisato-senpai and Morpan.

Yuna: Yes i was one of the support there.

Aoshima: I learnt from a few people there that your name was Yuna Braska. I also know that Yuna means “hibiscus” in one dialect. Hence, the flowers as a token of my appreciation.

Yuna:Thank you erm...

Aoshima: Toshiyuki Aoshima, at your service.

Yuna: Oh, well, thank you Aoshima-san.

She gives him a bow.

Aoshima: No need, the pleasure is all mine. I was just wondering, would you mind having dinner with me.

Yuna: Oh, that is very kind of you, but i am rather busy at the moment. So i will have to decline.

Aoshima: Your not doing anything important though.

Yuna: Not for me, but my help to the collage's motor club will benefit them.

Aoshima: The motor club, that place smells to high heaven. Why would a elegant young woman like yourself want to help them. I have enough funds to build my own team, and i have the looks to match the world's best drivers.

Yuna: But that doesn't benefit anyone but yourself, natural inner beauty is what you need to harness. Not money and distinguishable features.

She then picks up the flyers on the floor.

Yuna: I want to help out those who need it, not those who flaunt it. So i am afraid i must decline.

She was about to leave when she was suddenly grabbed hold of by Aoshima. He peers over her, deliberately violating her space.

Aoshima: I don't care if i flaunt it, i care about taking you to dinner.

Yuna: Let...me...go!

Aoshima forcefully took Yuna by the arm.

Aoshima: Well, shall we go.

Yuna:LET...ME...GO!

As if by instinct, she lets out a psionic blast, separating both of them. Yuna immediately stands up...

Yuna:Stay away from me!

...and immediately ran away from him.

You just cheesed her off!

Yuna was running as fast as she could possibly can, hoping not to catch sight of the man who would scorn her.

Aoshima: Come back here!

She looked behind for a second to see Aoshima following her. She looked forward and tried to run as fast as she possibly can. Hoping someone would be able to help her. As luck would have it...

Michael: What the...

Michael noticed Yuna was running towards him...

Michael: Yuna

Yuna: Michael!

Michael then noticed Aoshima behind her. Yuna stopped by Michael. Aoshima then stopped in front of Michael.

Aoshima: Hiding behind someone else, typical!

Michael: I don't know who you are, but you will leave my girlfriend alone!

Aoshima: Your sense of protection is severely lacking, she was asking for it.

Michael: Back...off!

He took one step towards Aoshima.

Aoshima: I found her... i get to keep her.

Michael: A woman is not a toy...which makes me think your a playboy.

Aoshima: Alls fair in love and war

Aoshima then stood toe to toe between Michael.

Aoshima: Now, are you going to stand aside?

Michael: No, because i know what you will do. That's why i am protecting her.

Aoshima: Protect this!

Aoshima then punches Michael in the side. Michael looks back, his face hardened

Michael: You asked for it.

He punches Aoshima back in the face, then in the arm. Aoshima responds by aiming a punch at his tummy, forcing him to collapse.

Aoshima: Heh, pathetic.

He was about to go to Yuna when Michael suddenly tripped him up. Michael stands up and looks at Aoshima.

Michael: I won't let you take my love away, nor will i allow you to bully me out of it. So leave us alone.

Aoshima stands up

Aoshima: Guess i am going to have to take her away from you.

Aoshima was about to knock Michael out when suddenly he was tripped over by him.

Aoshima: You weasel!

They both stand up, and resumed fighting each other. Michael landed a series of punches on Aoshima and was about to finish him off when suddenly he was kicked in the stomach and sent crashing to the floor.

Yuna: Michael-san!

She ran to him and put her arms around him in order to protect him. She was very upset as they looked at each other. Yuna could see the bruises on his face as well as some on his arms and legs.

Yuna: I'm so sorry, i should have protected you.

Michael: I'm doing this for you, my angel.

Aoshima: Heh, though a very bad job of it.

Yuna and Michael looked at Aoshima as he continued.

Aoshima: Its time to move on, your “boyfriend” is ugly, weak and poor. I have the looks, the strength, and the funds to make your dreams come true Yuna. The flowers i gave to you were only the start of the dreams.

Yuna then stood up and frowned at Aoshima.

Yuna: Those flowers were tainted by your deceit and betrayal. You verbally and physically assault my boyfriend and tried to break his heart and spirit. And i feel a lot of      deviousness in your mind and heart. You don't care about me, its only my looks you want. Not my heart, nor my skills.

Aoshima: What do you mean, i do care about....

Yuna: You do not care about me! Inside i hear your plans, taking me to dinner, then forcing me to be with you though the day, backing it up with the possibility of threats. Your the kind of men i despise.

Aoshima: Now hold on, i could work out...

Michael: Forget it mate, she's not listening to your lying.

Aoshima: How do you know!?

Michael: She despises corruption, lies, deceit and injustice. And when you tried to pour that on her... well lets say you only have two options. Face punishment or leg it! Because you have cheesed her off!

Aoshima: Me, I... no wait... I didn't mean that I.... how do you...

Suddenly he finds himself being pulled into the air by Yuna's telekinesis.

Aoshima: Wait... let me go...let me go!

Yuna lowers Aoshima down, freeing him.

Aoshima: Hehehe, just you wait Yuna. When I...

Yuna's eyes suddenly flashed causing Aoshima to stand still. 

Yuna (Dreamer persuade): You must sleep, Aoshima.

Aoshima: I must sleep...

And with that he falls to sleep.

Michael: Whoa, what do you do there?

Yuna turns to face Michael, smiling to him.

Yuna: This is my dreamer persuade. It is a quick hypnotic command that i can send to another person. However it depends on certain factors.

She went up to Michael and offered her hand. He takes her hand and is slowly picked up.

Urd: Boy, you two are really a handful.

They looked to find Urd walking up to them.

Yuna: Urd, i...

Urd: I saw everything and i had to say i was impressed. You are very protective to Michael just as he sees a lot of things about you. But, you used your powers on Aoshima, and that causes two problems.

Michael: Let me guess, he is a playboy and lacks understanding of magic.

Urd: Indeed, he is growing suspicious of me and Belldandy, forcing me to give an experience he never forgets. But this time he is aware of three people who use magic, and his nature makes him more of a danger than ever. You know what has to be done, Yuna.

Yuna: Yes, i understand. He doesn't deserve to know who i am.

Yuna eases Michael back on to the floor and then she and Urd go to the unconscious Aoshima. They raise one of their hands so that one is on top of the other.

Urd: I call to the spirits, with the assistance of the Dreamer Yuna. Combine the strength of our magic to suppress the memory of Yuna from Aoshima's mind.

A grey beam of magic descends though Urd and Yuna's hands and into Aoshima forehead for a few seconds before disappearing. They both put there arms back down afterwards.

Michael: I take it he won't be able to remember what happened here then.

Yuna: Yes Michael-san.

Urd then moves to Michael and kneels down to him, smiling suggestively.

Urd: Now then, i wonder what we can do to patch you up!

To which point, Michael blushed considerably!

Michael,Yuna and Urd returned to the Motor Club where Michael's wounds were tended to. As Michael sat down on the chair, Urd questioned Michael in a playful tone.

Urd: Well, Michael. How do you want your treatment today?

Michael: What do you mean?

Urd: You know, do you want it with mischief or how about with sheer naughtiness.

She smiles suggestively to Michael, causing Michael to blush again!

A few minutes later, Michael's wounds were healed by Yuna and Urd's magic. Both of them did there best to make Michael better, Yuna healed most of his wounds with her healing abilities...

Yuna: Here you go, Michael-san.

...while Urd tried to apply a small snake-bite like potion to some other wounds...

Urd: What about trying some super-strong mend it potion! Guaranteed to remove lumps and brushes instantly!

Michael: OK

...however, it caused the lumps to go into different colours!

Urd: Well, i did say that it remove lumps and brushes!

Michael:  Instead it coloured them to make them not look like brushes and lumps!

But in the end, Michael was fully healed by the two. minutes later, Keiichi and Belldandy arrived.

Keiichi: How did it go?

Michael: Well... not very well to be honest.

Yuna: We seem to have caused undue attention to ourselves, yesterday Sayko Mishima-sama tried to steal Michael away from me, fortunately she left us alone after we contested. Now, Aoshima wanted to steal me away from Michael-san. We ended up having to erase his thoughts about me.

Michael: But on the bright side, we managed to hand out about 100, maybe 150 flyers altogether. So it wasn't all bad.

Keiichi: I see.

Yuna: I'm worried, what if Aoshima finds me again. When he tried to force me, i was scared.

Urd: Don't worry, Aoshima isn't usually the one who prowls around lying in wait. Usually he is trying to keep up his end of the relationship, even if it is fabricated.

Michael: And if he does come round you again, i will ensure he leaves you alone.

He looks down at the floor, feeling that, although he did defend her, he wasn't strong enough to stop Aoshima.

Michael: However, i wasn't much help in defending you.

Yuna: You were Michael-san, and i am glad i have someone watching over me... as i watch over you.

She smiles to Michael.

Keiichi: Well, i have been asked by the Senpais to tell you that because of your large effort in promoting the motor club there has been a lot of interest from new members. They have therefore decided that you can take tomorrow off if you want to.

Michael: Well...OK, i will take a break. I mean this is a holiday to us.

Yuna: Are you sure they don't need us tomorrow?

Belldandy: Yes, in fact they are thinking of how to repay you for your efforts as well.

Yuna: There is no need to repay me, i am happy that i have helped you out. But, i seem to have caused trouble here, so i will stay at the temple tomorrow.

Urd: It might be best, i can't pull yourselves out all the time!

The day dawned as usual, although because of Michael and Yuna not going to NIT, Michael decided to have a lie-in. Belldandy and Keiichi was going to collage, Urd wanted to check out the shops for some stuff and Skuld was at the junk yard, salvaging parts for some machines. Banpei guarded the house as usual, taking fondness for Yuna just as he does for Belldandy.

As soon as Belldandy, Keiichi, Urd and Skuld left Yuna went to the guest quarters. She looked down on Michael, see him in his futon, positioned like he was a baby.

Yuna (Thinks): Aww, he is sleeping so peacefully

She knelled down beside him and spoke in her sweet, lovely tone.

Yuna: Good morning, Michael-san.

Michael shook his head a bit, wondering what invaded his space...

Yuna: Wake up

...but knew it was something that he holds so dearly, he opens his eyes and sees Yuna in front of him. He smiles to her.

Michael: Morning Yuna.

She smiled sweetly back to him, both of them knew the chemistry between them surfaced once more as they looked at each other in their dreamy love state. After a few seconds, Yuna started to blush as she remembered what she was going to say.

Yuna: I woke you up later as we were not going to NIT. Belldandy and Keiichi have already gone to NIT. Urd said that she was wanting to check around Nekomi and Skuld is at the Junk yard salvaging stuff.

Michael:So in a way, we have the house to ourselves

Yuna: Indeed, though it isn't our house.

Michael: I know, i know. We obviously have to look after it.

Michael sits up.

Yuna: Would you like some tea, Michael-san?

Michael: Yes please.

And with that, Yuna goes out to the kitchen to make tea. Meanwhile, Michael thinks to himself.

Michael (Thinks): It was a exhausting few days, but i think i am enjoying this holiday regardless of the problems. I haven't had this much adventure since my family accidentally went across the rocks on the New Quay beach on a high tide in the rain! Though i didn't like it when it actually happened! The memory of it though just makes it feel fun.

Yuna then returned with a tray containing a cup of green tea.

Yuna: Here you go, Michael-san

Michael: Thank you.

Michael took the cup of green tea and started to drink it.

Yuna: Oh, i just remembered. Belldandy asked me to tell you if you want to go into town with them tomorrow after our visit to NIT.

Michael: I would love to, to be honest, we haven't been doing much exploring as we wanted to here because of the work. So having even just one visit to town will be perfect.

Yuna: Really, that's great!

Michael finished off his tea and then handed it back to Yuna.

Yuna: I will be doing breakfast soon, so you can have a bath and get changed now if you want to.

Michael: OK, i will do that.

She then leaves him to do breakfast. Michael gets up, gets some clothes from his bag and then heads to the bathroom to have his bath.

Meanwhile, Yuna was in the kitchen doing Michael's dinner, she was smiling as she was cooking his food.

Yuna (Thinks): I wonder if i can get this food in the UK. Michael would love having such food if he did, though his parents thought having raw fish and meat balls would be disgusting. True, some countries eat some of the strangest foods, but it is never too late to try something extraordinary.

She then remembered what Lalya said when she was Cambridge with Michael.

Yuna (Thinks): Layla told me that Michael would want to answer a important question in his life, what would it be?

She shook her head and she though aloud.

Yuna: It will come in time, Yuna.

She resumed making breakfast, a few minutes later Michael appeared with a light blue t-shirt and white trousers. She turns to face him and smiles sweetly.

Yuna: Breakfast is almost ready, Michael-san. Morning rice and soup.

Michael: Thank you, Yuna

He goes to the lounge and sits down ready to eat. Yuna then enters containing  asagohan (morning rice) and miso soup on a tray. She sits down by the side of him and lays out his food on the table.

Michael:Itadakimasu

And then he begins to eat it with sheer joy.

Yuna: How is it?

Michael: It tastes great!

Yuna: I'm so glad!

Yuna continued watching Michael eat all of his breakfast, smiling sweetly as she did. As Michael finished his breakfast he leaned back and looked out to the garden (the doors were open to the garden), admiring the beauty of it.

Michael: Yuna, i was wondering. If you and Belldandy are from the spirit world, then why  have you not met each other before.

Yuna: I come from a different part of the spirit world, while Belldandy is from the Yggrasi plane, i come from the dream plane.

Michael: So in a sense you do come from different parts of the spirit world.

Yuna: Yes

Michael: Then why does she have those markings and you don't?

The room is white and chrome chamber with many crystal, cocoon like pods dangling from the ceiling. In the centre was a control terminal with two astral men at the terminal. They had white hair and grey eyes with a grey dot on their foreheads. They wore a white robes and white shoes.

Guard 1: Dreamer pod 1719-Yuna, energy formation at 95%. Estimated time of creation – 5 minutes.

Guard 2: Dressing is ready for pumping, usual white overalls until she learns her transformation skill.

Guard 1: Everything is checked out then.

Guard 2: Yes, there should be no problems today.

Guard 1: Still, its a funny request. A computer game character.

Guard 2: Maybe to you, but we have been recently receiving these kind or requests before. This period has seen a rise in computer games and the female characters have been the attention of men. They are the new nymphs and faeries of there lives, so you will get used to it. Besides, the on-board knowledge that is given provides a base for them.

Guard 1: I see, it has been some time since i last hatched a dreamer out of her pod...

Suddenly the alarm in the chamber blared in

Guard 1: Creation imminent on pod 1719, pumping dressing now.

Guard 2: Pod hatch in 10 seconds

They lower the pod via the terminal and administered the dressing energy .

Guard 2: It's hot, hatching in 5 seconds.

The pod slowly subsided, revealing a young girl of about her teens with medium elegant hair, wearing a plain white dress. The guards walk over to her as she opened her wall-eyed blue-green eyes.

Guard 1: Greetings, dreamer. What is your name?

Yuna: Yuna

Thursday 11.30 AM

Yuna: ...Dreamers are different to goddesses because they are designed to  live on earth. Like Urd said, everything was prepared for a dreamer to live on earth. I was trained in all the skills and customs needed to live on earth before i came to you. Also, unlike Goddesses we are created and hatched out of pods.

Michael: So i didn't need to ask why you don't have um...

Yuna: Astral markings is what it is commonly refereed to, Michael-san. As the same markings exist on most of the population on heaven and on many spirits on earth.

Michael: And dreamers do not need them because they were designed to adapt to humans.

Yuna: Yes.

Michael: I see, Thank you.

Michael took in all the information about the conversation before they both sit back and looked out to the garden, the sheer beauty of it amazed Michael and Yuna, as was the atmosphere between them.

Michael (Thinks): Just think Michael, one day you will have something like this. A beautiful house overlooking a beautiful garden with an angelic and lovely woman beside you. But, i shouldn't get carried away, we need to do so much for the world beside our own well-being.

He looks at Yuna

Michael (Thinks): Yuna cares so much for me and for others, and i care a lot about her. That must be what drives me, it drives into believing, because i believe that hope can give you the strength and care you need.

Yuna looks at Michael and smiles sweetly to him as they entered a dreamy love state. Then suddenly the ground shook, disrupting the moment. They run out into the garden to find Banpei on the floor, slightly damaged.

Michael: What's going on.

Suddenly a dark sphere was fired a Michael, Yuna sensed it and grabbed hold of Michael, forming a psyshield over them. The sphere is rebounded of the shield. They both look up to find Marrler  floating by them.

Second attack

Marrler: Well, well are you not surprised?

Michael: Not you again!

Marrler: I have returned as i said and now i will put an end to you and your dreamer.

Michael: You still haven't took that shelf stacking job, i heard it might suit you!

Marrler angularly replies by firing a bolt of electricity at Michael and Yuna, they are thrown apart from each other.

Marrler: That was a pathetic response considering what's going to happen to you.

She flew down so she landed right in the middle of the two. She aims a dark sphere at Michael.

Marrler: And now you will be erased!

She was about to throw the sphere when suddenly her right hand (which held the dark sphere) was hit by one of Yuna's psybeams, forcing the sphere out of her hand and sending it skywards. Michael saw this opportunity and rolled away before standing back up. Yuna used her telekinesis to throw Marrler onto the floor so she can run up to Michael.

Banpei then ran up to met them and fired a series of lucky charms at Marrler, unfortunately she got up just in time to shield herself.

Marrler: 1 dreamer, 1 mortal and 1 robot against me, this is too easy. Oh and just to make sure...

She pulls out some earplugs and puts them on.

Marrler: You are not going to win by playing rock music.

Yuna aims a psybeam at the floor, creating a smokescreen for them to escape. They ran to the largest bush in the garden.

Michael: Why would rock music allow us to win?

Yuna: All demons have a weakness to a type of music, it causes them to either dance or fall asleep.

Michael: So she prevented that from happening, we could take the earplugs out but that would be very difficult. So what else we could do?

Yuna: First, let me give me your sword.

She closes her eyes and starts to glow for a few seconds, the Wu fang sword then appears in her hands. She gives the sword to Michael.

Yuna: Next, we need to find a way to distract her.

Michael: How?

Marrler: Hide and Seek just shows how afraid you are from me!

Michael and Yuna look up to find Marrler floating above them.

Michael:Shoot.

Banpei then aimed at Marrler and fired a set of lucky charms at her. Hitting her and sending her to the ground. Michael looks at Banpei

Michael: Not what i had in mind but thanks.

Banpei gave a nod to Michael.

Michael: Wish me luck.

Michael leaps out of his hiding spot, wields his sword and then strikes at Marrler in a full rage. The attack was a cut from right to left, combined with the channelling of energy into the sword it caused the attack to feel like a tiger who is on fire scratching his foe.

Marrler leaped back, seeing three tears in her costume rather than one. The fire damage quickly subsided since she was immune to it.

Marrler: This can't be, you only attacked once!

Then she noticed the sword had Japanese writing on its blade, she quickly figured it out and smirked

Marrler: So you are the current holder of the Wu fang sword. You do realise that when i report back you will become the newest bounty to us. Of course, if you hand over the sword i will leave you be.

Michael: Not on my watch!

He attempts to slash at Marrler again but she evades, floating high up into the sky.

Marrler: Come on! Step right up and throw your sword at me, i can guarantee you a 10% chance of hitting me and a 90% chance of take your sword!

Michael: Shouldn't it be 50-50, wait your an idiot you wouldn't know!

Marrler (In anger): Id-io-it! Why you..!

Marrler immediately flies down directly at Michael in a rage, in a attempt to crash in to him, but just as she was about to Michael gave her a swipe in the face, sending her back. Yuna finished her off by using her telekinesis to pummel Marrler to the floor.

Michael: That's gotta hurt!

But Marrler was not done, she tried to launch one more dark sphere at the two, but before she could she was grabbed hold once more by Yuna's telekinesis...

Yuna: STAY AWAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND MARRLER!

And was catapulted up into the sky...

Michael: That took care of her.

Yuna saved her breath (as she was exhausted from using her psy powers) and then turned to Michael and smiled.

Yuna: Are you alright, Michael-san?

Michael: Yes thank you.

Then flying in from above...

Urd: Yuna! Are you alright?

Michael: We're fine, just had to get rid of some pest.

They then noticed Keiichi, Belldandy and Skuld running up to them from behind. Urd lands beside Michael and Yuna and noticed the Wu fang sword.

Urd: Hmm... you seem to get yourself into more trouble every day.

Michael: What do you mean?

Urd points to the sword as she continued.

Urd: You didn't use the Wu fang sword on Marrler did you?

Michael: Yes, why?

Urd: By using it, she knows who to steal the sword from. And that means you will be a prime target for attack. I think we should talk about this inside.

And so the five enter the temple.

Thursday 12 PM

In the lounge, they gathered around the table for a quick dinner (which Belldandy cooked some riceballs) while Urd explained the importance of the sword (which was placed on the table).

Urd:In my time as administrator i have heard many tales about the sorcerer Clow Reed. His aims to bring a new arcane system was a difficult but remarkable ordeal.

Michael: His descendent told me about him and the Clow dynasty's future.

Urd: Indeed, you must have been aware of the Cardcaptor and her role as well as anyone else connected to her. You will also know about the Wu fang sword and its role in your job as protector. But what you don't know is what the Heaven's purpose in the sword.

At this time, Belldandy came back in and offered Riceball's to Michael,Yuna and Keiichi.

Urd: As you know, the sword taps into the user's spirit in order to channel its attacks. But it cannot distinguish friend or foe.

Michael: Meaning that in the hands of the enemy...

Urd: It can become a threat to the world, and beyond.

Michael: So how does the Heavens prevent that from happening?

Yuna: The spirit world monitors the arcane systems on earth in order to assume balance, some track the location of sensitive artefacts and systems while others ensure certain artefacts and systems are not misused. But we cannot be everywhere, since it may remove our cover.

Michael: So it falls upon me to ensure I don't lose this sword.

Belldandy: Yes, you must protect it, for if Marrler obtains the sword, who knows what will happen.

Michael: What if i am on the dark force's bounty list because of it?

Urd: Don't worry! The dark forces have the same disadvantage as us. It is very unlikely they will attempt to hunt you in order to get that sword in person. Let alone put you on a list.

Yuna: But still, you must protect it with your heart. And i will ensure that you can, no matter what.

Michael and Yuna look at each other

Michael: Thank you, my angel.

Helping hands

After dinner, Belldandy and Keiichi returned back to NIT. Meanwhile, Michael was on his way back to the guest quarter when he was called by Skuld as she opened the door to her room.

Skuld: Michael, i have been doing some modifications to your MP3 player.

Michael: What!? That's an expensive piece of equipment!

Skuld: I know, but you will be amazed by what i have put on.

She goes back into her room and returns with Michael's Ipod, containing a unusual attachment.

Skuld: Be amazed by my Super Scanner 500 add-on! This attachment and software upgrade emits a short range pulse revealing where arcane beings are in your vicinity.

Michael takes his Ipod from her and accesses the Super Scanner display. It shows a cross in the center...

Skuld: The cross is where you are.

And a dark dot in front of him.

Skuld: And the dark dot is where i am. Being a goddess, i emit a large amount of arcane energy, this also applies to other astral beings but usually astral beings cannot be sensed by arcane humans.

Michael: Why's that?

Skuld: Its because our energy pattens are similar to nature, and it is usually passed off as a freak of nature as a result. Plus over here, Nekomi has had many practical jokes, rendering it shock proof.

Michael: I see, well thank you.

Skuld: Your welcome, if you need any more gadgets for your bodyguard role, let me know.

Michael: Bodyguard...well, its not exactly a bodyguard role but... thanks.

Skuld: Your welcome!

And so Michael leaves Skuld, with Skuld going back in and shutting the door (possibly to work on other machines). Michael goes to his guest quarters.

At the guest quarters, Michael sees Yuna looking out of the open door to the garden.

Michael: You OK?

Yuna turns to Michael and smiles sweetly to him.

Yuna: Yes, I'm OK.

Michael: That's good.

Yuna notices the small component on his Ipod. Michael went to one of his bags (which was open) and checked if nothing else was taken to be modified! With everything accounted for he removes the super scanner component (which was a rectangle with a small led light) and puts it into a small component in his bag. Then he slips the Ipod into its case and puts it into his rucksack.

Michael: Skuld's quite the inventor. She created something for me so i can be more effective.

Yuna: Yes, it was thoughtful of her to build you the Super scanner.

Michael was shook a little, knowing full well that she was using her telepathy. She felt his emotion and apologized.

Yuna: Sorry.

Michael stands up and went by her.

Michael: It's OK.

He smiled to her, and she smiled back. Then they looked at the beautiful sunset coming across the garden, it was warm and mystical.

Michael: It's so beautiful.

Yuna: Indeed.

They holds each other's hands as they observed the sunset.

Michael: I heard one time that you know when the sun has fully set when you hear a sizzling sound and then it goes dark. However, i have never seen that.

Yuna: Where did you hear that?

Michael: Off a support assistant while i was in the Lake District. I had a school expedition weekend then. It was my first time i was going to be away from my parents yet, i was afraid, afraid of being so far away from my parents. Fortunately i was offered a chance to call home and let mom know i am OK. Then i knew i could start going out on these expedition weeks or weekends.

Yuna: When was this?

Michael: About 1998, when England were thrashed out of the World Cup over penalties, we were unable to see who was about to make someone's nightmares in TV and things about Microsoft going into consoles or even a story about a young man who used to play a made-up sport ends up to meet a young summoner in order to defeat a dark entity, were never thought about!

Immediately Michael lets go of Yuna's hand as she was about to laugh at Michael's comment. Michael too laughed out loud.

Michael: And that's only in a nutshell.

After they got their breath back, Michael continued.

Michael: So, tomorrow we go shopping for gifts to take home.

Yuna: Not just to take home but to give to our guests, they have been very kind into offering their home for us to stay in.

Michael: Yes, i think we should. Umm, do you think they would have heard this.

Yuna: Well, there are paper walls, so yes, they would have heard about this. But i think they will be thinking the same thing.

Michael: What about funds for the gifts? I didn't get a chance to transfer my money into Yen.

Yuna: We have the reward we are about to receive at the motor club. So we will add that to your pocket money and some of my funding, if they allow me to of course.

Michael: I've also got to get a postcard to send back home.

Yuna: And i still haven't shown you around the city.

Michael: That's OK, its been pretty hectic during the last few days.

Yuna: But i want to ensure you have the best holiday, Michael-san. And i will do all i can to achieve it.

Michael: All in one day?

Yuna: Yes, because you wanted to see Japan... just how you dreamed it was. And i am willing to go as far as i can so you can see it.

Michael takes Yuna's hands...

Michael: Yuna

And smiles to her, feeling happy that she cares so much about him...

Michael: Thank you so much.

Today was going to be a great day for the group, with only a few lessons in the morning Keiichi and Belldandy was able to take Michael and Yuna (as well as Urd and Skuld) out into town to shop for gifts. Right now, the four was in the motor club,along with all the other members awaiting their pay out for the promo drive.

Tamiya: I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for doing their part for the promoting of this club. Especially Morisato and Morpan, who's special race helped raised funds and attracted many students to sign up for next year. For that, i am willing to offer you a small portion of the funds as a token of our appreciation.

He goes over to the cash box and pulls out two sets of cash, totalling up to 4400Ą (about Ł20). After Haswgara checked the money ( to avoid any silly problems between the two club heads), she hands out the cash, first to Michael:
Haswgara: 4,400 Yen to Morpan and Yuna...

And then another batch of 4400Ą to Keiichi

Haswgara:... And 4,400 Yen to Morisato-senpai and Belldandy-senpai.

Tamiya: Thanks to your efforts, victory in open day is at hand!

Keiichi: Senpai, this isn't a miltary operation

Tamiya: I know, just want to make it feel like it. Now if you would excuse me, I've got to still check the dent Morisato left me on the 3-wheeler.

With that Tamiya and Haswgara left.

Michael: I guess all this hard work paid off, this money will help buy some things to take back home.

Keiichi: Did you have any money to start with?

Michael: Of course, I had Ł50 holiday money which roughly converts into 11000Ą. So i now have Ł70 holiday money, equivalent to 15400Ą.

Yuna: Michael-san, I know you liked you hard work but i would like to buy some things for you, Keiichi and his best friends. You all deserve something special after all we have been though this week.

Michael: OK, i was only going to spend about half of my money so here's Ł50.

He splits the money so he had Ł20 (which was already converted into Yen) and Yuna would have Ł50 and then gave the Ł50 to Yuna.

Michael: You will need to convert that into Yen before use.

Yuna: Yes, i will try to find some time to do that.
Yuna conceals the Ł50 into her obi.

Michael: OK then, so we will head back to the temple now and meet you in a hour at the station.

Belldandy: Yes, see you there.

They gave a bow to each other and then left.

It came to 11AM, and Belldandy and Keiichi finished their work at NIT and have left for town.

Keiichi: I was planning to have dinner somewhere first, so i brought some extra cash to pay for the food. I thought that i might thank Michael and Yuna for being our guests and for helping us out.

Belldandy: Yes, they were very kind to lend a hand.

They went to the Densha eki (Train station) stop and awaited for the train's arrival. In a few seconds the train arrived, coming off it was Michael, Yuna, Urd and Skuld amidst a wave of commuters and tourists. They head to Keiichi and Belldandy, hoping not to knock anyone down on the floor (with the possible exception of Urd!)

Keiichi: Hello again, shall we get going?

Michael: Yes

They immediately made their way out of the eki and began to discuss what is going to happen.

Keiichi: I was thinking before I showed you around Nekomi that you might want dinner.

Michael: Well i was a bit hungry before i got here, maybe its because of the trains. They are much better than the ones back at home.

Yuna: If you want to Keiichi-san, we could head back home and have dinner.

Keiichi: Nah, i wanted to offer my own reward to you two. The senpais were desperate and you came willingly to help. I want to return the favour as well.

Michael: I see, well thank you.

Yuna: Same here, Keiichi-san

Skuld: Just don't try to pull something on Onee-sama or else!

Urd: Ah, that sounds like a good idea!

Skuld: Don't encourage him!

Urd: Why you don't know what i could do on him.

Skuld: I can guess...

The argument went on as the group walked to a nearby café.

Keiichi: Well, here we are.

They went inside the café, it wasn't much, just your ordinary town café severing food and drinks for anyone needing them. However, they do home-made ice-cream, something which Skuld enjoys.

They take up two tables. On one table was Michael and Yuna sitting opposite to Keiichi and Belldandy. On a table opposite them was Urd and Skuld. They picked up the menus on the table and browsed them. The waiter came and asked for their choices, Keiichi ordered Gyudon and lemonade,Michael ordered Pasta and cola, Yuna ordered chicken with white wine sauce and white wine, Urd ordered Sake and Skuld ordered a large amount of ice cream! Belldandy decided not to eat for the sake of it, which gave Urd an idea!

Urd (Whispering): Keiichi, why don't you share your gyudon with Belldandy?

Keiichi (Whispering): But she doesn't want to eat.

Urd (Whispering): I know, but just offer her your food once it comes.

She gave a small nudge to him as she said it.

Keiichi (Whispering): Wouldn't she order food herself?

Urd (Whispering): Maybe she didn't want you to pay too much...

She smiles as Keiichi pondered over what she said. Did Belldandy ensure that Keiichi didn't have to pay too much for the group? Of course not, she just didn't want to eat for the sake of it. Urd just wanted Keiichi to think about her so that she can set a romantic mood.

Belldandy pondered over what was going on but thought it wasn't a problem so she sweetly smiled to Keiichi when he looked back at her. Yuna however felt that life for the two maybe getting too complex, that deep down Belldandy is confused about the future.

Yuna dismissed it for the moment as their food arrived. When the food and drink was laid out the group began to eat and drink. The food tasted delicious for the group (Skuld even quickly ate all the ice-cream up). As they eat, they discussed about various topics, first the plans for the rest of the day.

Keiichi: So where do you want to go today, Michael?

Michael: I don't know, is there a chance we can visit the Tokyo Radio Tower.

Keiichi: Hmm, i doubt it, its a long way from here.

Michael: OK then, nevermind. Maybe we should just take a look around and see what could interest us.

Keiichi: OK, what about you, Yuna?

Yuna: Same here, though i would like to visit a shop along the way. I want to buy something for you and your friends.

Keiichi: Yes, i almost forgot about that.

Michael: I also need to send a postcard off to my family as well.

Keiichi: Alright, so its a look around Nekomi then the shops, after that i want to show you a place i hope you will enjoy. Is that alright by you?

Michael gives a nod

Yuna: Yes Keiichi-san

Understanding their plans for today, they ordered desert. 6 Chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice cream sundaes! Which was more than enough to bring back memories of the first time Michael and Yuna ate out. After having their ice-cream, Keiichi was about to pay the bill when he suddenly noticed that he has not enough money to pay the bill altogether.

Keiichi: Damm, i think we overstretched our budget. Maybe we might have to reduce the number of gifts on this trip.

Yuna: Sorry, let me make it up for you.

She used a bit of slight of hand and some mental thought, and acquired some cash from the spirit world. She offered the cash to Keiichi, who despite feeling slightly surprised accepted it. Urd whispered in Keiichi's ear.

Urd (Whisper): Another standard dreamer trait. They can create the necessary funds to assist their friendship. Proving of course the need for such funds can be proven and used for necessary reasons, like food or bills.

After paying the waiter the group left the café, Urd resumed her comment.

Urd: Most of the dreamer's powers are logged in order to prove that they are used correctly. Misuse of a dreamer's gifts can lead to certain punishments. However, Dreamers are usually trained in customs and in responsibilities, making such violations occur rarely.

Shopping for all

Later, the group looked around Nekomi and its features. Michael took in the unique mystic of this area of Japan, and that even though it was only a suburb of the city, it felt unique in every way. The group went to shops, had pictures taken in a photo booth and watched the sea as they ate their ice-cream (Yes, Skuld encouraged them to spend more money on ice-cream). Later on, Michael brought a postcard from a newsagent and alongside the purchase of a pen as a souvenir, began to write home, from the comfort of a picnic bench!

Michael (Writing): Dear Jane and Steve, i am having a great time here in Tokyo. Sadly, it turned out the competition ticket my girlfriend brought was a fake. It only had the flight into Tokyo, the rest was not booked in anyway. Don't worry though, we found 4 Japanese residents who were more than kind enough to let us stay in their house for the week. We helped each other out as well so there wasn't any boredom.

Today i am exploring some of Tokyo, it's an amazing fusion of suburb, city and nature. There is so much to see here, it would be too big to explain here, i will tell you when i get back.

Don't worry about me getting back, as the holiday was about to end my girlfriend rung up the airport and ordered tickets for the flight home. Don't worry about paying her, she comes from a rich family.

Yes, it was a white-lie or a half-truth. But it was necessary to cover up Yuna's real identity. Though she did book the return flight and the tickets are in the post.

Michael (Writing): See you soon, Michael.

Yuna who was right beside him, proof read it. After checking it all out she gave the postcard back to Michael, who wrote the address on it as then posted it.

Yuna: That is OK. Your mother would be proud of us coming so far. If only she understood what you are going though...

Michael: Yeah, I've opened up my heart to them, its up to them to open their heart to me.

Yuna: What do you want to happen if they don't open there heart to you.

Michael: To be honest, i would want to leave home and live somewhere else. The problem is that, aside from having to find a good place, that i will need to purchase things that are not mine. Like the TV, Kitchen etc.

Yuna: I can help you with that, a dreamer can call a trial on those who have hurt their charge before the charge received his dreamer. However it has to be asked by the charge only, with no forcing.

Michael: You can do all that?

Yuna: Yes, but if you do ask for a trial i will have to assume a neutral position in order to judge without bias towards them or even you. I can also decide the punishment to the defendants as well.

Michael: I understand, you can't rig the trial in my favour, even if we are partners i wouldn't have it any other way.

Keiichi, Urd, Skuld and Belldandy then approached them

Keiichi: Well, shall we continue?

Yuna sweetly replied

Yuna:Yes

And so the group left to go shopping, they have already decide to go to a nearby charity shop. Already, the group had ideas for gifts:

Michael (Thinks):  Yuna is such a sweet, warm, caring woman. She is selfless yet also possessive, but with reason. She wants me to always be happy, never sad. Though i was wondering if she wouldn't mind if i brought some new clothes for her to wear.

As Michael was thinking about this, he was looking at Yuna. He blushed as he took in the sheer enchanting beauty of her.

Yuna (Thinks): I am so happy that Michael is happy and warm, and that i am a part of his life as a friend. I am also thankful of Keiichi, Belldandy, Urd and Skuld for offering us a place to stay after we found out about the con. I want to give all 5 of them a gift to show my thanks and love. I know Michael would like to have a kimono and that there might be second hand kimono at the charity shop. I would also want to offer a kimno to Belldandy, Urd, and Skuld and a fleece for Keiichi-san.

Keiichi (Thinks): I don't know about wanting to purchase something at the charity shop today, but i will treat them to my favourite place.

Belldandy (Thinks): I was wondering if Yuna has any Japanese cookbooks back at her home.

Urd was behind Michael, Keiichi, Belldandy and Yuna. And thought with a suggestive smile.

Urd (Thinks): My my, what two cute couples we have here, you can go as far as saying they could be cousins because of how similar they are. Hmm, what should i buy for the two and how?

Skuld was right in front of Keiichi,trying to secretly keep an eye on him so he didn't do anything with Belldandy. Yet deep down she feels like she cares about the two couples.

Skuld (Thinks): Why does Michael and Yuna feel so similar to my Onee-sama and Keiichi? Is there something different between the two? It feels like love isn't as simple as loving one person.

True, Skuld only knew one type of love, that of sisterhood with Belldandy. Her love-hate relation with Urd could also count. Yet as we continue this story, one question remained in her mind, what kind of love is Keiichi and Belldandy's?

They finally arrived at the charity shop and immediately went in and browsed. It would be difficult if not impossible for Michael to look at most products available due to them being in Japanese (even though the spell allows him to see Japanese writing in English a subconscious thought always tells him that its in Japanese and so will be impossible to read without learning the language when the week's out), so he just went straight to the clothes. Of course, he was also stumped on how sizes worked as well so Urd helped him understand all the sizes of the clothes.

After that, Michael began to browse the clothes racks in search of a costume Yuna would like. He finds something that made him look in delight. He sees a beautiful casual set of clothes consisting of a dark green dress, a green coat (that is just slightly lighter than the dress),a lime green scarf that would go over the costume,long lime green fingerless gloves and long dark green boots.

The costume made Michael dreamy, thinking on how Yuna would look like if she wears it. His dreamy semeiner disappeared, when Yuna called him.

Yuna: Michael-san!

He broke out of his dream and looked at Yuna, with a small sense of blush appearing in the confusion.

Michael: Yuna, if it was OK with you, i was wondering if you would try this on.

Pointing to the costume as he was saying it. Yuna read his thoughts and knew why he was in a slight state of anxiety, this is the first time he was considering buying clothes for her and so needed to know if she didn't mind. Without giving surprise nor worry she replied.

Yuna: Don't worry about me, i will try the costume on.

She sweetly smiles to Michael as she picks up the costume and goes to the changing room. Urd, was overseeing this and smiled mischievously as she considering buying Yuna a kimono. She browses through the racks and finds one that would be perfect.

She picks a colorful Komon Kimono containing pink to fuchsia gradient background on both the main part of the kimono and its sleeves. There are various red symbols on the bottom of the kimono and on the sleeves. A cyan obi containing rows of green,blue and red circles and love hearts, and pink sandals complemented the outfit.

Urd: Perfect, this will do nicely.

Urd immediately goes to the counter to purchase it. Meanwhile, Yuna appears out of the dressing room wearing the outfit Michael chose for her. Michael was amazed by her appearance, the natural green colors gave a contemporary feel to her.

Yuna: What do you think?

Michael: I think its beautiful and warm. It looks lovely on you.

Yuna: I thinks its lovely too, Michael-san.

After looking at all its features, she returns to the dressing room to change back.

Meanwhile, Belldandy was looking though the bookshelf. She decided that she would by a cookbook for Yuna so she could cook oriental foods back home. After looking for a suitable book she picked it up and headed to the counter.
Yuna reappeared out of the dressing room, wearing her persudo-kimono and holding the hanger containing the new costume, as well as the boots. She gave the clothes back to Michael.

Yuna: Here you go, Mikey.

Michael took the costume and went to the counter. While this was happening, Yuna started to do her own bit of shopping, going though the clothes racks to pick out certain costumes for the rest of the group.

For Michael, she picked a plain white male kimono with a black obi. A pair of black socks and sandals were also available to complement the picture.

Yuna: Michael always wanted to try a kimono on, he thought of having one that would reflect his balance. I want to make that dream come true.

She then went to the women's kimonos, and picked out a kimono for Belldandy. It was  lilac with a purple floral patten, it contained a dark purple obi. Then she picked one out for Urd, a Red vertical striped kimono with a purple obi. And finally Skuld, a yellow floral kimono with a green obi.

So that Keiichi didn't lose out, Yuna also picked out a white fleece which looked similar to Michael's. Once all that was done she went to the counter to purchase them. 

Urd, and Michael had already done theirs and were discussing when to give out their gifts alongside Keiichi. Meanwhile, Belldandy decided to purchase something for Yuna.

Belldandy: Keiichi-san, i am just going to search for a gift that Yuna would like.

Keiichi:OK

And so Belldandy looked though the bookshelf to find a cooking book for Yuna. Upon finding one, she went to the counter and made the purchase.

After Yuna and Belldandy made her purchases she went to them.

Keiichi: Means that it is nearly time to go home, i was thinking about taking you to somewhere i like.

Michael: Where is that?

Keiichi: Ah, its a surprise, but trust me i will think you may enjoy it.

The surprise was a ride back home on a cabin cruiser. It is one of Keiichi's favorite places for many reasons including the times when he and Belldandy exchanged chocolates and when Keiichi forgave Belldandy after a terrible ordeal concerning Mishima.

Now we find the group looking over the cruiser to sea, admiring the sheer beauty of their surroundings. They were taking in the gentle breeze and the warm sun, yet they were also carrying in separate bags their gifts.

Michael: This is beautiful, Keiichi. Thanks for showing us.

Keiichi: It was no big deal, who knows, we might be able to spend more time in town if you visit again.

Michael: Its possible. Who knows what the future holds?

That slightly stirred Belldandy, the future? Will it be like the past, when certain people try to tear their relation apart intentionally or unintentionally? Or will it be worse? She tried to conceal it before, trying not to let it show on her face but now it feels like she couldn't keep it in.

Yuna noticed Belldandy's worried face and used her empathy and telepathy to find out what's wrong. Belldandy could feel Yuna's psionic presence in her head and looked at her, feeling like she was about to cry. Then Keiichi noticed it...

Keiichi: Is something wrong Belldandy?

Belldandy: No, I'm fine.

Yuna went up to Belldandy

Yuna: Do you want to go somewhere else?

Belldandy: Umm...

Keiichi: I don't mind.

Belldandy: Well OK.

Yuna: I will go with her, see you soon.

With that Yuna gave a bow and then took Belldandy to the opposite side of the cruiser. Upon arriving they looked at each other concerned.

Belldandy: You were reading my mind, were you not?

Yuna: Yes,  i noticed you were sad yet trying to conceal it. That is good, as your friends won't worry about you. But, i noticed you couldn't seem to hold on to it. I was afraid you would suddenly break apart.

Belldandy: Yes.

Yuna: So are you alright?

Belldandy: No

Yuna: Why?

Belldandy: I am afraid Yuna, you talk about the future like there is nothing wrong yet i am concerned that something will happen that will make me lose Keiichi-san. I nearly broke up with him twice but only because there was outside influence, i didn't know what was happening at the time and at one time blamed myself for not sensing it. But now...

She bursts into tears.

Belldandy: Now i feel i am the reason for all this. Because i am with Keiichi, the dark forces find me or Keiichi-san as a easy target. I almost lost him when the Lord of Terror possessed him. Now i am scared that the future will contain more attempts to separate me from Keiichi. I feel that i shouldn't take such risks.

Yuna: You are thinking of leaving as soon as you can?

Belldandy: Yes, because i don't what Keiichi-san to get hurt by our actions.

Yuna: But what about Keiichi-san, what would he say if you did?

Belldandy: I don't know.

Yuna: And what would you say if you choose to stay instead.

Belldandy: That i want him to be happy.

Yuna takes Belldandy's hands as she said.

Yuna: That is what you need to keep yourself thinking. That no matter who tries to hurt or separate you and Keiichi-san, no matter if either of you changes or if things come and alter the perspectives, just say to yourself, even if it feels bleak, “It's going to be alright” and smile.

Belldandy looked out to sea as she said

Belldandy: Even if it looks bleak...

Her thoughts drift to all the times they have shown their care... and all those times they have forgave each other...

Belldandy: ...Keep smiling

She wiped her tears away and smiled to Yuna

Yuna: And your not the only one who would feel that, I myself would never want Michael-san to get hurt as well. But even when it feels like that is what is going to happen, i keep saying to myself that it will be alright, for i know that he cares about me as i care about him.

Belldandy: Thank you, Yuna-sama. I will try to keep that close to me.

Yuna: Well, we should we return back to the group.

Belldandy: Yes!

Yuna and Belldandy walk back to the group. Keiichi smiled as he saw Belldandy cheered up, her smile warming many.

Michael: Well, should we give out the presents?

Yuna: Yes, sorry for not having anything to wrap them in.

Michael: That's OK, it was going to be a quick exchange anyway.

They immediately showed their bags and prepared to hand them over to each other. First, Michael gave the bag containing Yuna's costume and gave it to Yuna.

Yuna: Thank you Michael-san!

She shows the costume to the others, despite the fact that most of the group knew what it was!

Yuna then gave out her gifts, first the white\black kimono to Michael...

Michael (While blushing): Thank you, my angel.

...then the cyan floral kimono to Belldandy...

Belldandy: Thank you, Yuna-sama

... then the red striped kimono to Urd...

Urd: Thanks

...then the yellow floral kimono to Skuld...

Skuld: Thank you, Yuna.

...and finally, the white fleece to Keiichi, which completely surprised him...

Keiichi: You should have but... thank you.

Urd and Belldandy then offered their gifts to Yuna. 

Urd: I hope these will help your role Yuna...

Urd gave out the colourful kimono to Yuna, followed by Belldandy who gave to her a cook book.

Yuna: Urd, Belldandy... thank you. You are really kind not only for your hospitably but for helping out me and my boyfriend for the future. And i hope that we will see each other again when we leave.

To which Belldandy smiled sweetly...

Belldandy: Me too

The next day has already dawned and Michael was busy trying to make green tea. He smiled at what has been an enjoyable holiday despite all the strange events. He was looking in the fridge trying to find some milk when a intoxicating voice was heard.

Urd: You don't need to look for milk, Michael. Your doing green tea, remember.

Michael pulled himself out of the fridge and looked at Urd.

Michael: Ah, i forget.

At the same time he was blushing at both his confusion and Urd's appearance. She smiles suggestively to him as she gets a bottle of sake from the fridge.

Urd (Flirty): Shall we?

They leave for the outside of the temple and sit on the wooden floor,it was here that Michael knew two things. One, his weaknesses for beautiful girls is being shown, and two, that Urd was casually flirting with him. It became more apparent when Urd sat right beside him, smiling to him. At that point, he just couldn't stop blushing and smiling at her.

Urd: (giggles)... my my, you really do have a weaknesses for girls.

Michael: Yeah, i really do.

He looks away in order to hide his blushing

Michael: At least i know i have such a weakness and that it doesn't change my viewpoint or ideas. I find that it makes me fit in.

Urd:Why is that?

Michael: Well, i have generally thought that men can be powerful warriors, and that women can be beautiful sorceresses. But of course, i don't just think about looks, i think about beauty, brains, brawn and spirit. What about you?

Urd: Its too personal, Michael. I don't want to talk about it.

He looks at Urd

Michael: Why, is it...

She gave a small nod, silently telling him that it was a sad moment of his life.

Michael: I see. We must have had a pretty rotten past.

Urd: Yeah.

Michael: I would love to tell you my story, but as you know i can't. Its for the best though.

Urd: Well, i don't know about mine very well, when i was little i was handed over to my father and separated from my mother. I was introduced to Belldandy and then later on Skuld. During the time i was training to be a Goddess, just like Belldandy was. And here i am, exiled System Administrator of Yggrasi.

Michael: Yggrasi?

Urd: Its the support system of Heaven, it monitors the stability and environment of both the Earth and Heaven.

Michael: I see, so you were keeping the world in check from Heaven?

Urd: More or less, and Skuld was chief debugger of the system.

Michael: What caused you to stay here?

Urd: I tried to rush Keiichi and Belldandy's relationship for the first time, i was accused of  abusing the system as a result. And Skuld decided to stay after she had to do a major debugging operation on Earth.

Michael: Why did you do that?

Urd: Because i want the best for Belldandy and Keiichi.

Michael: Me too, i want you all to be happy. And i know i will ensure Yuna is happy, as she does the same.

After that, they drank their drinks. With both knowing that they have something in common. Afterwards Skuld appeared

Skuld: Michael, we want to take pictures of you and Yuna before you leave.

Michael: Well OK, but i have no camera.

Skuld: That's OK, i have set up Banpei to take pictures of us. Then i can devlop the pictures and send them to you in the post.

Michael: OK then, lets go.

Michael, Skuld and Urd head off to the other side of the garden for the photo shoot.

They arrive on the opposite end of the garden to find Banpei already set up to take pictures and Belldany, Keiichi and Yuna waiting for their arrival.

Michael: This was unexpected.

Yuna: Yes, Michael-san. Though it is a pleasant surprise for us all, and a memory we won't ever forget.

Michael: Indeed, my angel.

They looked at each other in their dreamy love state before they were suddenly interrupted by Skuld, who had the urge to act like a photographer.

Skuld: OK places everyone for the group shot!

They immediately took places for the group shot with Yuna, Urd, Michael,Keiichi, Belldandy and Skuld lining up. As soon as they were all lined up Banpei took their picture. Certain gestures and outbursts caused Banpei to take more pictures of them, sometimes with Michael or Skuld on the floor yet smiling.

Skuld: Now the special shots, everyone take a look at what will be done.

The special shots included shots of Yuna and Belldandy, shots of Michael and Yuna, Individual shots and some shots of Belldandy and Skuld. It came to anyone's surprise (Other than Skuld) why there were no special shots of Belldandy and Keiichi.

Urd: Skuld, is there any reason why you don't want pictures of just Belldandy and Keiichi?

Skuld: Well I...I...

Urd (teasing): I know why, you wouldn't stand having such pictures of them!

Skuld started to get frustrated

Urd (teasing): You love to see Michael and Yuna as a couple, but never your onee-sama with Keiichi!

Skuld immediately flipped!

Skuld: SHUT UP URD!

And it evolved into a fistfight between the two. After the dust settled, Skuld finally agreed to have pictures of Belldandy and Keiichi done. And so Banpei took many shots of Belldandy and Keiichi. However that didn't stop Urd, who knew the perfect shot, Belldandy and Keiichi kissing each other!

Urd: Good, but there is one more needed.

Belldandy: One more?

Urd: Yes, one more. And its a extra-special one!

Urd goes up to Keiichi and whispers down his ear.

Urd (Whispering): This is a good opportunity for you to kiss Belldandy and have the whole moment to treasure!

Keiichi replied aloud...

Keiichi: No, no, no, you asked for pictures of me and Belldandy, not a picture of me KISSING Belldandy.

Urd: What fun would it be otherwise?

Belldandy looked confused...

Belldandy: What would be fun?

Yuna goes up to her...

Yuna: I guess she wants you to kiss Keiichi again.

Belldandy: She fooled him again...

Yuna: Maybe, but maybe you should do it. To please everyone.

Skuld: Everyone!?  I won't let Keiichi lay his lips on onee-sama!

Urd: Come on Skuld! Are you going to ruin this special moment for everyone or are you going to let this by?

Skuld: Well...I...OK, just this once.

And so Keiichi and Belldandy kissed and their moment was snapped and developed, ready for pressing. As this occurred.

Michael: That moment, always feels familiar.

Yuna: I know why, because it is like our moments.

Our last dinner together

The rest of the day was for Michael and Yuna to pack most of their belonging back into their bags, ready for the flight home. They have received the replacement tickets for the flight and now they are settling down for their last dinner of the holiday.
Keiichi: To celebrate Michael and Yuna's dorm departure and to wish them all the best for the future, Cheers!

Urd, Skuld and Belldandy: Cheers!

They banged their drinks and drunk them simultaneously. They looked at each other, knowing how well they have come this week.

Keiichi: So, how did it go for your holiday?

Michael: Very well Keiichi. It has been an experience to remember, in more ways than one.

Yuna: Me too, i am happy that one of Michael's dreams have come true. And i am happy that i am not alone when it comes to helping him. I thank you all.

Keiichi: I hope that you will come again Michael.

Michael: Me too, as a tourist or maybe even a gaikokujin (i.e. Foreigner, this word is not as offensive as Gaijin), however i will need to accept the fact that i would be different from others because i am from the outside.

Belldandy: Why is that?

Michael: Japan has a wary sense when it comes to foreigners, then again so has Wales. They remember us as those who back stabbed, abused and performed dishonourable acts. And strangely enough they still think about that, especially since certain trading with the West has left them with nothing but trouble and corruption. Of course that was no reason for Japan to become a dictatorship for the third time in World War 2.

Belldandy: But your not like those before you?

Michael: No, me and some other westerners knew what Japan has been though, and knew that we can learn from you.  OK, so there are still some immigration woes but i know that Japan doesn't want a massive clogging up of immigrants who would cause nothing but trouble. The country has been OK with Europeans and Americans, but that is strained by some who exploit and disrespect them and It feels strained with China because of it being Communist. So to be honest, i respect Japan's reason for them to be wary on us, but only because not all people understand your side of the story.

Keiichi ate some of his food, he admired Michael's sheer honesty when it comes to the problems of being a gaijen (foreigner) in Japan and why.

Keiichi: I understand why you would say that. And i thank you for admitting it, if only more people understand.

Michael: Me too.

Belldandy: I hope things get better for you, Michael-san. You are a kind and noble person  who doesn't want to deceive anyone.

Michael (Blushing): Thanks.

They continued to eat their food, it was yuugohan (evening rice) and meatballs and vegetables, all cooked to perfection by Belldandy. Ironically they had this on the first night, so this would be considered the last time for Michael and Yuna to eat like this for some time until Yuna would cook it herself.

Skuld: Oh, the pictures we have took today have just been done. I'll show you them too you in a bit

Michael: OK

Urd: And hopefully you may receive pictures of Bellandy and Keiichi!

Skuld frowned at Urd but this disappeared when suddenly they felt the ground shake. Then then heard mechanical whirring followed by a loud thud and then...

Marrler: Come out, come out wherever you are!

Final battle

They ran out to see Marrler hovering by the home, and Banpei on its back.

Marrler: I'm here to still claim my 2 for 1 offer on pest removal!

Michael: And I'm still asking you to take up shelf stacking!

Marrler: If you would have just given me that sword i could have just settled for 1 pest! Well!?

Michael: Not a chance

Marrler: Fine, i will just have to make it a chance.

She wields a dark spheare and fires it a Yuna, Yuna shields the six and the sphere is deflected skywards.

Yuna: Michael-san, Keiichi-san, get inside the house. Let us take care of her.

Michael: But...

Yuna looks at Michael and gives a reassuring smile.

Yuna: I'll be OK, i promise.

Michael nods his head and then he and Keiichi gets inside.

Yuna, Belldandy, Urd and Skuld prepare themselves for battle

Yuna: I won't let you hurt Michael-san or Keiichi-san.

Belldandy: We won't let you hurt them.

Marrler:Who's said i was going to hurt them, i am just going to “negotiate” with them. And your the perfect bargaining chip for it.

She unleashes a bolt of  dark energy onto the floor propelling the four in different directions. Skuld retaliates by throwing a Skuld bomber at Marrler. Knocking Marrler onto her feet, she quickly gets up and shields herself.

Marrler: That was just too easy for you, yet you have no idea why!

She uses her magic to lift a bolder from the garden then throws it at Belldandy, it almost hits her when suddenly Yuna used her telekinesis to grab hold of the bolder and push it to one side. Belldandy then shot a green fireball at Marrler to push her back.

Belldandy and Yuna stood side by side, Belldandy fired green fireballs while Yuna fired psionic bolts. Yet despite their efforts Marrler raised a shield to deflect their blows.

Belldandy: It is not working!

Urd saw the stand off and decided to ambush Marrler from above. So she went up to the temple's roof and launched her attack from there.

Urd: Marrler! Surprise!

Urd fired a bolt of lighting towards Marrler which hit her but not before she fired a fireball at Belldandy and Yuna's feet causing the them to be separated and the smoke to linger for a while.

When the dust settled, Belldandy, Urd and Skuld was shocked to find that Marrler managed to withstand the attack long enough to crawl her way to Yuna! Who was on the floor following the blast.

Marrler: Ha ha ha! You fools didn't realise that i took the liberty of bolstering by health before this battle so i will ensure this goes ahead.

She looks at Yuna, who was trying to get up.

Marrler: Its over Yuna, don't try to continue fighting me. Now i will either saviour the moment of dispensing great misery to Michael or i claim one of the most powerful weapons know, the Wu Fang Sword. Lets begin...

She immediately starts to cast a capture spell on Yuna when suddenly...

Michael: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Michael smashes out of the temple, Wu fang sword in hand. He lifts the sword and slices Marrler followed by kicking her in the stomach!

Michael: I will not... let you... take away...my love! I Won't let you take and twist this weapon to your accord! I WILL NOT LET YOU TEAR MY LIFE APART!

And so in a furious rage he starts his attack on Marrler.

The Tiger within

Michael aimed at Marrler and was going to slice her in a rage when suddenly Marrler raised a shield that rebounded him backwards.

Marrler: You are but a mere mortal, attacking me would be suicide! Why don't you give up and hand over that sword.

Michael: Never!

Michael rushed at Marrler and they both parried each others blows, Michael's sword and Marrler's shielding and evading kept each other at bay. Yet during the combat Michael's was channelling his rage, his spirit, his love for Yuna, his passion for the people and his friendship into his Wu fang sword. Making each attack stronger and ferocious, like a enraged tiger.

It therefore took some time before finally Michael was able to break Marrler's shielding. He then scratched and kicked Marrler onto the floor.
The others watched what was happening, but Urd noticed something else, black stripes were forming on Michael's body.

Urd (Thinks): Oh no...

Urd had every right to be worried, for Michael was tapping into the sword for too long and as a result, is becoming more and more primal. He couldn't think straight, his instincts were becoming more blurred, voices feel out of place and he felt like a tiger on fire.

Marrler stands up and noticed the enraged Michael coming towards him.

Michael: You... must... die...

Marrler: I will never die, I CAN NOT DIE!

With that she unleashes all her dark energy on Michael, yet she discovered that Michael was deflecting most of the attack with his sword before he suddenly ran up and thrusts his sword right into Marrler's heart, disintegrating her. However, it would not be the end of her, instead she is sent back to regeneration in her hideout.

Keiichi came out of the temple, the conflict was over yet as he was about to run over to Michael he was stopped by Urd.

Urd: Hold it.

Michael turned to the others, his eyes was bloodshot, there were scars and tears in his fleece and trousers and black stripes was visible all over his body. He was breathing in a way that it felt like a growl.

Urd and the others knew what was happening, they could sense what's going though Michael.

Keiichi: What's happened to him?

Belldandy: Because Michael tapped into the sword for too long, he has become primal. He can't be able to distinguish friend or enemy.

Skuld: What should we do onne-sama?

Urd: There is only one way to revert the effects, his spirit needs time to realign and reassess and he needs sleep to do that.

Belldandy: Let me try to help him sleep.

She stands in front of Michael and summons her angel, Holy Bell. She then begins to sing a lullaby to him. The sweet, melodious, angel tones were reaching Michael but were unable to stop him.

Urd: Good idea.

Urd then stands beside Belldandy and summons her angel, World of Elegence. She adds her singing to the lullaby, its strange sultry mix adding to Belldandy's singing.

Michael stopped growling and listened, his eyes couldn't make out what was happening but his ears starting to hear the sweet,warm,magical melody that made him feel warm and cared, comforting his aching heart and healing his wounds. Yet he can't seem to be able to understand what was happening.

Then he heard a third voice, something very familiar, something mature, melodious, spiritual, warm, cosy. He could now make out who he is seeing, it was Urd, Belldandy with two other angelic beings beside them, and now Yuna standing in front of him, all singing to him a sweet and lovely lullaby which started to take effect on him. His body started to feel loose, his mind felt calm, his eyelids started to get very heavy and then he slowly fell asleep. But not before his slightly clear mind thought one thing:

Michael (Thinks): Thank you... my friends.

Alls well that ends well

Saturday 11PM

It was a few hours later when Michael's head became clear enough to open his eyes, though slowly. There he saw Belldandy and Yuna looking at him, who upon noticing him awaking, started to smile sweetly.

Michael: Yuna? Belldandy?

Yuna: Are you alright, Michael-san?

Michael: Yeah, i felt like my head was on fire.

Michael smiles back to them

Yuna: I'm glad your safe, Michael-san.

Belldandy: Me too.

Michael: I'm glad your safe too, its just... that it may be my fault that you were in danger.

Yuna and Belldandy appeared confused.

Michael: Obviously i would not have offered the sword, but i shouldn't have burst out of the temple and furiously used my sword on Marrler. Because i was using the sword for too long, i became primal, i didn't know who was who. And as a result, i put you all in danger for my actions. I was reckless.

Yuna: No, you were not reckless. You saved me from Marrler before she could capture me, you didn't think about yourself. You just worried about me, you worried about us all and you did whatever you can to protect us, regardless of your health.

Belldandy: You selflessly defended us, that is something that i like about you.

Yuna: Me too.

They both gave him a small kiss on the cheek, which caused him to blush bright red!

Michael: Thank you, my friends.

Michael yawns, realising he is still rather tired.

Belldandy: Let us help you sleep. Right, Yuna-sama?

Belldandy smiles towards Yuna

Yuna: Right

And she smiled back.

Michael: Good night, good bless, my angels.

A small sweet giggle comes from Belldandy and Yuna. Belldandy puts her hand on Michael's forehead, followed by Yuna putting her  hand on his forehead. Michael started to feel sleepy as Belldandy and Yuna's sleeping magic was bestowed on him. Michael smiled as he fell asleep.

Belldandy: He is such an honest and caring man.

Yuna: Yes, he is also brave, determined and strong hearted ,yet i wonder why many people wanted to hurt him.

Belldandy: At least you are here for him now Yuna.

Yuna: Indeed, i will be the mother, the friend and the protector of him. I will ensure that his is never alone, and that the wounds in his heart heals.

She then whispered down Michael's ear.

Yuna: ...and i will always try to keep you happy and loved, always.

Leaving the land of the rising sun
Tokyo International Airport
Sunday 4PM

The next day dawned and it was time for Michael and Yuna to leave Japan and return home. They went to the airport at 4PM so they could return to Birmingham at around 8-11AM due to time zones.

Their bags are packed and everything was ready for the flight home, after checking in with the flight operators they were in departures waiting for the flight home. This was the last opportunity for Michael and Yuna to say goodbye to their friends here.

Michael: Well, this is it then.

Yuna: It sure is

Michael: I have had a wonderful time, and i hope to see you again soon. But until then...

Michael pulls out from his pocket a small piece of paper.

Michael: I hope we can keep in touch Keiichi.

Giving the paper to Keiichi, he noticed it contained some of Michael's contact details (his e-mail address and his mobile number), Belldandy, Urd and Skuld also looked at the contact details. Keiichi looked back at Michael and replied...

Keiichi: Yeah, i hope so.

Yuna: I look forward to meeting you four again, either here or at our home.

Belldandy: Me too, Yuna-sama.

Skuld suddenly realises...

Skuld: Ah! That reminds me...

Skuld shuffles though her pockets to find two small packages... she gives them to Michael and Yuna

Skuld: Here you go, the pictures from the photo shoot.

Urd: With the Belldandy and Keiichi pictures?

Skuld (Regretfully): Yes Urd! With the Belldandy and Keiichi pictures!

Michael took the packages and put them in their bags.

Michael and Yuna: Thank you, Skuld.

Then the announcement blared though the speakers

Announcer: Flight 924 to Birmingham International is now arriving at gate 2.

Michael: That's us.

And with that they say their goodbyes, firstly Michael and Keiichi shook hands.

Michael: Take care, Keiichi.

Keiichi: You too

Then Belldandy and Yuna hugged each other.

Yuna: I wish you all the best for the future, look after Keiichi-san and don't worry about the future.

Belldandy: I will try, and thanks for your stay, Yuna-sama. Look after Michael-san for us, he needs your friendship and kindness to heal the wounds in his heart.

Then Michael and Belldandy said their farewells with a hug.

Belldandy: Good luck in the future, Michael-san

Then Yuna and Keiichi bowed to each other in their farewell

Yuna: Good luck, Keiichi-san

Then finally Michael and Urd , and Yuna and Skuld hugged each other.

Urd: Take care of yourself Michael-san

Michael: You too, Urd.

Yuna: I hope you can succeed, Skuld. Goodbye and good luck.

Urd even had time to give a little kiss on Michael's cheeks. Causing him to blush!

As soon as all their goodbyes were said and done, they bowed to each other and then they parted ways. Michael and Yuna board the plan and head back home. One things for sure, the adventures they have had, and the friendship they have made will never be broken.
